  1. These is all valuable points to remember. It can be easy to get caught up in the "fun" of the process of candle making and forget that this is very flammable stuff that we're dealing with. My husband doesn't call my candle area "my laboratory" for nothing I guess. Although he claims it has to do with some of my not-so-great fo mixing experiments...sigh...:sad2:

  2. :cheesy2:Ok, I'm finally taking the plunge and formally saying "hi there!" I have learned sooo much from everyone on here and I'd like to say thank you all for your posts. I've been making candles for about a year now or should I say testing, testing, testing, oh yeah and testing candles for about a year now! But as much as the testing can be a pita, it is a great feeling when you finally tame the flame. Anyhoo, I just really wanted to say thanks for a great place!
