Those look yummy! I have a weird fascination with fake food candles. There's just something about them that is so cool. Okay, I know I'm weird.

Great job! It's very... er,"thought provoking" to say the least! I'm sure your friend is going to be quite pleased. My birthday is next week if you'd like to make an extra.

These is all valuable points to remember. It can be easy to get caught up in the "fun" of the process of candle making and forget that this is very flammable stuff that we're dealing with. My husband doesn't call my candle area "my laboratory" for nothing I guess. Although he claims it has to do with some of my not-so-great fo mixing experiments...sigh...

Ok, I'm finally taking the plunge and formally saying "hi there!" I have learned sooo much from everyone on here and I'd like to say thank you all for your posts. I've been making candles for about a year now or should I say testing, testing, testing, oh yeah and testing candles for about a year now! But as much as the testing can be a pita, it is a great feeling when you finally tame the flame. Anyhoo, I just really wanted to say thanks for a great place!

I'm new to posting here, but not to lurking and learning. I just wanted to add that Peak's BOP is excellent and the ladies at my church (my senior testers) fight over these candles!

Very pretty and I too wish I could smell those FO combos because I bet they smell heavenly...
