  1. Hello everyone:

I am not sure what is going on with my candles and not sure what to call it, perhaps shrinkage? This happens when the candle cools, it seems to have a ring of wax on top. This is before the candle is even burned. Any help would be greatly appreciated, tried to research it, but not even sure what it's called, so I am hitting a brick wall. TIA :-)

Cooled in preheated tumblers in oven.

This is happening with and without fragrance and color.

Sorry if the pics are too big, not sure how to adjust on here.

    Thanks again for looking :cheesy2:

  2. I do and I love it. I have made regular, goats milk and soy milk yogurt soaps. I treat it like I would regular milk. I use the half and half method (half water with your lye..then half yogurt at trace).

I am sure there are more ways to do this, this is just what I do and works well for me. The soaps are so creamy and my skin loves it.

I also use Aloe juice instead of water. HTH

  3. Same here!! It sells amazing... but I HATE IT!!!

I find that CS LS does not smell that exact to me, I prefer Peak...

I think the Peak one is dead on. I never smelled the original until today at the mall, and my first thought "Hey that smells like my Peak oil". I don't care for this scent either, but other people love it. Go figure :-)

  4. Wow...I tried this today and I have to say I absolutely love it. It came out absolutely perfect.

    Here is the recipe:

60% Sugar (combo of white and coarse sugar, see measurement for amts)

12% Butters (2% should be cocoa butter, the other 10 can be shea or mango)

    20% Oils

    3% E-wax

    3% Stearic Acid

    2% Fragrance Oil

Preservative of choice at proper usage amount

I used cocoa butter and mango butter. Shea is always so darn greasy to me. I used Grapeseed oil for the oils. Half white sugar and half turbinado sugar.

Fragrance was Lonestar's White Cake. (Smell is incredible in B and B products and super cheap)

Scrub did not turn thick and pasty. Not heavy on the skin, Scrubby enough to satisfy me. It feels absolutely fabulous.

Space girl, where ever you are ..I thank you!! :cheesy2:
