IMO it will probably not 'pop out' of anything. It is not designed to. I would scoop it out. I keep a big red 16oz Solo cup nearby that I use for extras. Just pour everything in there and use for fire starters. You can simply use a scissor and cut the cup away from the wax, dump in a pour pot and viola!

I do not make pillars, but, lower melt point can't hurt !

I love 4630, I would absolutely try them in it. Be sure to allow cure time. Some oils need more time than others.

It looks to me just like an embed of a higher melt point wax in a different color... seems the embed is a different FO.

Good luck to you! I agree that samples are not necessary. I never get a popcorn sample, just a description. Most people are just buying to help out the team/ class anyway, not really looking for a great product or a great deal. Some do tend to buy the cheaper items so make sure you account for that too.

Welcome to the forums! I was reading for weeeeks before I even joined, and I read verrry fast! Purchasing a kit is a good thing! Otherwise, how do you know if you even like it? It allows you to make a few candles without being stuck with extra supplies. Have fun!

This is such a great seller for me! I also LOVE it. Sucks when people want to buy a candle that makes you sick, right?

We use old metal tea light cups in the bottom of our pots, keeps the pour pot off the bottom of the pots. At the very least, be sure that no water gets into your pouring pots!

As far as remelting, the soap is only temporarily heated in the microwave, I assume this does not really zap scent? Do you incorporate more FO? I have some FUGLY fish embed soaps that I was not sure what to do with...

A soy person I am friendly with uses them. I have not tried them personally, because I usually get frustrated on ebay...

It seems that we cannot predict what will sell better. One day of a show was insane for melters and melts! The following day (same show) our 16 oz jars were all the rage!

I have kind of decided to only bring melts and melters to smaller shows, much less set up time and so much less to carry! I want to see how I do at a show with just melts and maybe sachets and soap.

Agree with Mindy. Expenses like advertising are covered, then remaining amount given to charity/cause. Money from vendors should be enough to cover expenses, and whatever is collected at the door should be added to remaining vendor money and given away. The expenses should not have to come out of the coordinator's pocket.

I must put my 2 cents in-

many chemo patients have issues will scent. Often they are nauseous/ vomiting to begin with. I don't know that a scented candle would be a good thing, especially if it is strong. I would probably aim for something like a vanilla.

Not to sound crass, but find out what types of scents do not make them feel sick to their stomach.
