  1. I gotta quit reading these boards, because I keep finding things I want to try! I haven't tried BC's lip balm yet, but I am thinking I might just try your recipe, because hopefully those will all be things I can keep on hand in the near future.

  2. Here is my first picture. Been making candles for fun for almost 3 years now, but starting to get serious (hoping to start selling in the spring). Most everything is BCN.

Bottom: Twigs and Berries, Citrus Peel and Pine, Blueberry Muffins, Apples and Oak

Middle: Woodland Trail, CInnamon Bun, Hot Cocoa

    Top: Pumpkin Nog, Dew Berry

    Triple Layer: Neopolitan

    Laying Down: Spiced Apple

  3. I like the small wicker laundry baskets from Walmart. I did one for my sil's wedding and I was able to fit a small bottle of sparkling cider, two goblets, 4 votive holders with candles in them and a pint jar of cappuccino mix in it. I think they are around $1.25 a piece. I also saw that Walmart had a lot of nice Christmas tins out.Robin, I never thought of thinking outside the box!!!HTH,Steph

  4. I have to add a third plug for Bittercreek's bases. The only one I haven't tried is the hand soap one. The lotion is great and feels wonderful on your skin. I haven't started selling lotion and b and b yet, but I plan on adding it soon! I am also thinking of trying the goats milk multi base from Candles and Supplies to make a thicker cream for feet and other rough areas.

  5. I mix ezsoy with J50 because i didn't like all the frosting with the plain soy. I also use mostly BC fo's as well. Ones that work well in soy are marked with a world in one of the scent description lists. You can also search their message boards for other things you might be looking for. Their prices are great and their quality is even better!! Give them a try and you won't be sorry.

Here are some scents that I love from them:

    Cappuccino Brulee

    Cookies for Santa

    WYW Buttercream Crunch

    WYW Citrus Peel and Pine

    WYW Snowberry

I could go on and on.

Don't forget about Bittercreek South. They have some awesome ones as well.

    HTH,

    Steph

  6. I haven't started selling yet, but I am planning on doing the 2 oz for travel size and the 4 oz for regular home size.

I know that if I get bored with a scent (especially for body spray) that I have other options and don't have to spend a lot on them!

I love the look of the aluminum as well!
