I buy my scents from Daystar, NG, and JS. I don't care to share but I know that some JS scents aren't compatable with mosts peoples wax combos. Same with Daystar. I actually bought 4 different Love Spell scents before I found one that threw to my expectations. That's all I was saying.

Or try them from all the suppliers, go broke, and sell off all your samples at a discount and go out of business... Or charge...charge...charge.
That's a little extreme. I'm sure if she would search all the scents she could find where almost everybody orders their scents.
I did the same thing as my advice to her and I'm not broke and I don't charge my customers to death.
Do a search pick a few suppliers and test the scents. Does that sound extreme, nope I don't think so.

Those look fab, practice makes perfect.

My vote is Kraft label to. Although I'm changing I'm keeping some of the candles Kraft for my Craft Stores and the others are going to be for the other shops that have asked for different labeling.
If it's not broke don't fix it....

There are so many applications for B&B and so many waxes for chandlers. Someone may be posting about paraffin candle sales, but the oil will not be Body safe or won't throw in soy.
I appreciate threads like this for a different reason. I'll look for aroma trends - keeping in mind that these were the ones that sold well last year - not necessarily a predictor of how they will sell in 2010.
So very true. My sells for Love Spell & Fresh Linen have been shockingly good this year but I have been carrying these scents for 3 years now. Looking at my past records I barely sold enough to actually keep those scents on my list.

Well there are several suppliers that sell the same type of fragrances. This is where you step in try them from all the different suppliers till you find the one you like.

The sky is the limit with country primitive style stuff.
How about those orneries you put in the potpourrie there are so many places to look at for that kind of stuff. Along the way you might find something else you can do that will fit into what you want to do.

Hello
I'm looking for White or Cream labels with a Silver Border in 3 different sizes. It can be for me to print or for someone else to print like a printing company.
I can not find these type of labels anywhere, so I thought I might ask here.
I'm a newbie to the board but not to candle making. I've been making candles for almost 10 years and I want to spruce up my labeling. I'm getting tired of the brown kraft labels that I have been using for years.

The color doesn't matter but it depends on whether you use the pellets or a block. Your candles will burn differently, well at least mine did.

Wickless candles are a hot seller in my neck of the woods. The ones with the light bulb in the middle. I can't make enough of them.

Only 3, this is a tough one.
1) Black Raspberry Vanilla, I just love this scent (NG)
2) Pink Pepperberry (BW)
3) Pink Frosting (JS)
Those are the ones that I'm really liking right now.

Maybe something with Amber in it like Sensual Amber
-
Chocolate and Strawberries is a more romantic scent IMO

My vote is for Daystars, it's a really good seller for me through out the year.

1) Make sure I have more stock on hand.
2) Revise my business plan
3) Test new products to see if I can add them to my line
4) Start making plans on the set up of my candle making shop FINALLY!!!
5) Write down all my ideas instead of thinking I can remember them.
