  1. Temp gets to 190, it happens as soon as I pour the last of the wax out, it starts from the bottom of the pot..

It has only happened with the newer ones that I have purchased. The older ones have never done this. I've been making candles for several years and have never had this happen till now.

I too keep mine clean and the area around it. I want them to last..

  2. I've had 2 different presto pots that have caught fire while pouring my wax into my pour pot..

My first thought was that it's getting to hot but I always keep an eye on what the temp is and I've been making candles this way for years and within 3 weeks I've had 2 of them catch fire... This has never happened to me before.

Wandering if anybody else has had a problem like this with their presto pot??

  3. This is from the suppliers site.

Cinnamon Bread Pudding - creamy vanilla blends with brisk, nutty walnut, sweet cinnamon, nutmeg and honey to create this delectable scent.

Even though Spiced Apples and Peaches, Spiced Cider, Gingerbread applesauce, and cinnamon bread pudding are my best sellers where I live. They arent' anywhere else, the comments I get are I don't like mixed scents (gingerbread applesauce and spiced apples and peaches). I also get ewww cinnamon bread pudding.. I even have a tart in the box that is unwrapped and they wont even pick them up to smell them.

So that's why I want to rename them. To everyone that said eww or I know I wouldn't like it. I gave them one as a sample said try it and I'll be here next month. Hopefully that will work.

  4. Thank you , Thank you, Thank you.. I am so pumped now, lol... I have a list of places I want to call and go to.

I do have a few consignment shops, though they are good friends so it wasn't hard or nerve wracking to set those up.. They actually came to me, lol.

I have been making candles for several years you would think that I would just go for it.

Thank you again I'm so excited I'm getting my brochure ready..

  5. I've been to every gift/country shop around my area and all I see is the same brands and same scents at every single one.. Ones that sell for $1 up to $1.89 each for a Tart..

I've tested those to compare to mine and not to toot my own horn but mine are so better and less expensive..

I just don't know how I should go about it though.

Should I go in there with a wholesale packet and samples?? I hate calling people but if I should call first what do I say??

Sorry I'm just a nervous nelly when it comes to stuff like this.. I have a great Fall line up of scents that my customers absolutley love so I know others would too..
