  1. OMG...48.50 for a lb of the yuzu FO?????????? :shocked2: theres no way I would spend that kind of money for any FO...no matter how good it is...yikes! :shocked2:

I feel for ya Lyndsay...you could end up going broke trying to make this one customer happy.

  2. I agree with xxxx ...at least it's what i would do...i would make her a whole new order but ask her if she could please send the other back since she doesn't like it you may be able to sell it to someone else.

I made a yuzu room and linen spray for someone in the wsp scent and she actually liked it so everyones sniffers are different....what one person loves the other will say ewwww lol

wsp does have some really nice scents and then theres a few I can't stand and was totally dissapointed in...thats why I always get the 2oz bottles to try out becuase the prices are pretty high to begin with even with the free shipping.

I wish CS had yuzu...they are pretty much my favorite place for FO's

  3. CMS has an Orange Dreamsicle that throws great in 6006 and I also made a room and linen spray with it using his room and linen spray base which I had sprayed in my car and it lasted for a very long time.

It's one of my favorite scents and his is the yummiest I have found so far.

WSP has a good one too but CMS is stronger and better imo :cheesy2:

  4. Looks like quite a few of them sold out pretty quick. I prefer the fruity and spicy stuff.

    I got...

Lemongrass(can't wait to try that in candles)

    Cinnamon Plum

Granny smith Apple(anything apple seems to be a big hit around here)

    Fig Pear

does anyone know how any of these oils perform in 6006 wax? or glassglow palm?

    and some wicks

I wanted to get a few of her regular priced oils but airhead me forgot

  5. I couldn't find a phone number anywhere on her site. If she did her phone would be riging off the hook right about now lol

Can you imagine how she must be getting bombarded by emails right now? I sent her one at around 12:15 ....no response yet

oh well.....hopefully if its not fixed today she will extend the sale

  6. Yes....I'm sure she will fix the problem....just hope I can get back on in time before all the good ones are gone :)

I hear good reviews on the lemongrass, I really want to give that one a try along with a few others

  7. It's just the limited supply oils on sale? I can't seem to get the sale prices on any of them.

I tried for the lemongrass....supposed to be 4.99 a lb but when I go to click on the put into cart part it says 6.49 and then when i add to carty it goes up to 11.48????? huh???

I logged in thinking that may have made a difference...no go

I cleaned out cookies and such...no go

I did try to email her to see whats up.

I love her FOs....prices are great even at regular price but really wanted to stock up at the (EDITED == Please stop putting specifics of sales in posts.)

anyone else have probs with adding to cart?

  8. I tried the crushed corn cob a while back and personally I did not like the turn out. The oil just didn't seem to soak all the way through and even after a few days soaked right through my sachet envelopes.

Thecandlemakerstore.com has a sachet base very cheap. They are lightwieght greyish looking granules that work very well and soak in the FO pretty quick and perfect for sachet envelopes or bags(that you can't see through becuase they are not very pretty looking).

Aroma beads work great and perfect for jelly jars and organza bags but they are a bit more expensive.

I just recently made my own sachet envelopes and used this base and so far it working out great...holds the scent very well.

  9. I test burned my tester this morning.

Good news and bad news for me....no fuel smell on these! lol

bad news....not much CT or HT and it really doesn't smell much like a nice pepperminty candy cane scent....has almost a coconut smell :rolleyes2

I used 6006 in a 2 oz and a 6 oz tin. HTp 41 in the 2oz and cd 6 in the 6 oz...they burned well...not too high a flame or anything but dissapointed that I didnt get that peppermint scent I had hoped for.

Going to try Berts again and use less fo as suggested. I have some 6006 wax, glassglow palm wax and also 464.....

    back to the drawing board!

  10. Same here for me.....just test burned my candle with berts CC using IGI6006 ....1oz fo to a lb wax ....small 4oz hex jar with 2 inch diameter top and no dye....waited about 5 days for it to cure. also used a cd # 5 wick and another one a htp 41....no luck :( oh and also a votive with an htp41...same thing...yucky fuel smell

My tarts smelled beautiful also soylights....what a great scent this is....for tarts and sprays I had no problems. A perfect not too overpowering peppermint and I was so sure it would work but nada.

I have an order coming today from Rustic essentals and am getting 2 free 1oz fo samples which one of them I picked the candy cane...it claims on the website that it throws great in soy....but who knows....I'm about ready to give up on making candy cane candles and thought it would be a great xmas scent.....well at least the tarts smell good but not everyone likes using those burners...some just like candles.

I'll let you know in a few days of curing on the sample....I have a little bit of palm wax, I may try doing a palm wax candle and see how that goes.

What I really really loved from Berts and it throws great in the 6006 is the Dark chocolate mint....don't smell much mint(mostly chocolate) but yummmmm does it smell great :)
