It's been a while since I smelled Woodland Trails, but to me, the dominant note was cedar, so maybe if you try looking for that you may find something similar. I don't remember it having any spice notes. Good luck with your search; I hate when something I love gets discontinued-it happens all the time to me.

Taylored Concepts has a fanstastic graham cracker scent-Cheesecake. I only smell the graham cracker, not the filling. It's strong and dead-on. I used it to make a S'mores scent.
BNL's pie crust (at Bittercreek) is also great. It's good for blending or fine just as it is.
-
I also have used KY's base but sometimes certain oils would not incorporate well and require a good shakin'. I have found The Candlemaker's Store base to incorporate the hard to blend FO's better.
I like The Candlemaker's Store base, too.

This happens to me all the time- not just with scents but food, make-up, whatever-as soon as I find something I really like, it gets discontinued. Sorry to hear it's happened to you, too.
I haven't tried it, but I've seen recommendations for Taylored Concepts' White Chocolate. Good luck with your search.

They have incredibly fast shipping, too.
-
I can't believe how real the cake part looks; you've done a great job.

I've used both, and they are very close. I make a body spray with it for a friend, and she says ICS' is a little less musky, but likes them both. In paraffin candles, they both had excellent throw.

Soap Silly's Marshmallow, now carried at Daystar, smells just like a bag of marshmallows. I haven't tried it in any B&B, though.
-
I'm glad to hear about the apricot; I've been looking for one for a long time. Some of the ones I've tried had a weird pukey note. Lone Star does have some good oils-I just wish they were closer to me for shipping.

Don't know about Lemon Verbena for use in candles but the Lemon Verbena from Scent Works is one of my biggest sellers in CP soap.
I like Scent Works' Lemon Verbena, too.
-
I think Scent Works' Just-Ripe Banana and Soap Silly's Hamakua Banana (available at Day-Star) are the most realistic banana scents. They smell less like the candy banana scent and more like the fresh fruit. I love Candle Cocoon's Red Banana, too, but people who've smelled it think it has coconut notes, so I don't use it as a straight banana.

I don't sell, but I have to make body & linen spray for a friend who is still crazy about Pink Sugar. Her whole house smells of it.
-
Her Fresh Baked Cookies is really good- it has a very realistic bakery smell. I like the Rocky Mountain Pine, too.
-
The Candlemakers' Store 'Cranberry Relish' is my favorite plain cranberry.

Gingerbread Applesauce is one of my favorite scents, but I don't smell gingerbread notes in it. Maybe there are different versions of the scent... To me, the applesauce is the dominant note, so I think "Gingered Apples" or something similar would be fine, and I think lt. brown would be a good color.

It has been quite a few years since I smelled them, but I liked Steve's HOD better than Ky's Orange Chiffon Cake. I think CMS does really well with bakery-food scents, and I was always happy with the quality and strength of their oils.
-
I've been happy with the quality of the oils I've bought from them. (I buy the Grade A). I just found a bottle of "Blueberry Muffin' oil from them that is over 5 yrs old, and it still smells good. The customer svc. has been good, too.

I have used Longwyck's Lemon Meringue Pie at AH for several years and have never found another one that comes close for realistic, strong FO.
I agree with Chris; Longwyck's LMP is excellent. You really do smell the pastry w/ the lemon. To me, it smells the best cold, which makes it easy to sell!

Hi. Last Christmas, I was trying to make ribbon-candy ornaments out of grosgrain ribbon, and had a hard time finding the right colors and prints. I found this site-www.stranodesigns.com
They have gorgeous colors, prints, ideas, etc. I don't know how the prices compare, but they had the best selection of any site I'd been to. Good luck!

Your pillar is gorgeous; I love the look of the dazzle dust!

I make vacuum sachets using corn cob granules with oils I don't want to use in candles or B & B.

I am a fan of Peak's "Ocean" also.
Peak's 'Ocean' does not have any floral notes, and it doesn't smell like a man's cologne, the way most other ocean scents I've tried do. Good luck with your search.

There's no doubt that she's got some great scents-her Marshmallow is fantastic, and the Hamaku Banana & Pineapple Fields are, too, but I agree w/ Chris-it's too risky ordering-I'll wait 'til she sells her oils/business to someone else. Really a shame.

My friend wears Clinique's Aromatics Elixir, and she said the sniffy from SW was very, very close. Hope that helps a little.

It's not a holiday scent, but their version of Pink Sugar is as good as the pricier ones.
