Also at Kroger.

On the Oui Facebook page , there’s a contest where you can win some lids.
-
It is just adorable! Maybe some lids will turn up somewhere.
-
I was wondering if anyone has tried making candles with the little Oui glass yogurt jars. Also, has anyone found lids that fit them? They come with a foil top. They are really cute jars.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Even though I've been away from candlemaking, I still remember how helpful everyone was.

Candybee, thanks for the reply. Is C & S Candles and Supplies? ( I wasn't kidding when I said I'd been away for a while!)

I've been away from crafting for a while, and most of my suppliers are no longer in business. Who do you use as a reasonable supplier for glycerin?
We have 3 craft stores nearby, and none of them carry it. Thanks for any assistance.

Thank you Sylvie, I actually have a sample of CC's Cucumber Chaos but have not put in wax yet. Do you know how the French White Cucumber compares to Cucumber Chaos?
I'm sorry , I don't know. I never got the chance to try it. Hopefully someone else who has tried both will respond...

Puma, i have tonic (the original from TSW) out being duped now. It's been a few months since i sent it in, so I expect it back any day
Please post your results when it comes back; Tonic was such a unique & wonderful scent.

Anyone have a couple ounces of their (French White Cucumber) I can buy? I had finally got around to putting a couple samples in the cart, next think I know the cart disappeared. LOL!! Please pm me if you have a few ounces to spare, been dying to try out in wax.
Candle Cocoon's "Cucumber Chaos" is a nice scent, if you can't find SW's.

This happened to me in 2013. Every photo, document, and movie on my computer was encrypted and unusable. The pc repair people tried to retrieve them from the hard drive and couldn't do it. The even worse thing is that I was on my computer when it was attacked; I was seeing strange processes and was trying to put my files on flash drives, which were connected to the computer. All of a sudden, the processes started tripling, and the computer bogged down. Then I saw the 'ransom' note, telling you whom to contact to unencrypt the files. When I saw that the flash drives were encrypted, too, I was heartsick. A creepy thing happened after that. I thought I could restore the files by going back to an earlier date, & it was working, but then the restore points were wiped out! It was like someone was looking over my shoulder & seeing what I was doing. I had some older info on CDs, but my more recent documents, etc. were on the flash drives. Now I'm keeping paper copies of information I can't easliy replace.

I hate to hear that they've gone out of business. They had some really good oils. My friend loved their Pink Sugar-I made her a body spray from it. I really hope someone can pick up some of their scents.

I second Candle Cocoon's Raspberry Cordial. Very rich and luscious.

I like ICS and Scent Works' versions the best. Both are good; to me, SW is a little stronger

I can only stay in Kirkland's for a few minutes before I start to get a headache. The smell is overpowering.
Haha! I was going to mention Kirklands too, but I wasn't sure if it was a chain or just something in our area. But yeah, I have to agree...Good God it's awful! LOL.I refuse to shop there anymore. Last time I walked in the store, within minutes I became dizzy and nauseated. Smell is horrid. A full strength blast of spicy floral!
-
Thank you, Beth. I sent you a pm.
-
Thank you, Chris. I trust your floral recommendations because I know you love the floral scents. I'm glad to hear their Violet is strong; most of the violets I've tried were very light.
-
Has anyone tried SW's "Parma Viola d' Udine"? I'm trying to find a violet that is predominantly violet, without obvious vanilla or musk notes. The site description does mention musk, but I'm wondering how obvious it is in the scent.
-
I love the Cucumber Chaos, too. I remember her saying something about it not being available for a while, I think because of low sales.
-
I like Daystar's too, the Soap Silly version. It does smell good enough to drink!
-
It's been a few years since I've used it, but if it's still the same, it was a good scent. I can't really describe what made it different from other cinnamon scents, but I really liked it.
-
Please post your results after you get your marshmallows. I'm interested in how the 2 from Daystar compare, and your opinion of Ky's.
-
I love the Marshmallow from Soap Silly that Daystar carries. It's the truest one I've tried.
-
I was able to cross Banana off my list after I tried SoapSilly's 'Hamakua Banana'. It's at Daystar now. I've given up on the Buttercream, too.
Preserving evergreen trimmings?

Hi. I’m late to the topic, but wanted to let people know that glycerin does work w/ evergreens, Use the glycerin at 1/1 ratio to water, & be sure the water is very hot, but not boiling.. Glycerin- treating is kind of hit-or miss; some don’t absorb the solution, so treat more than you think you’d need. The nice thing is the scent of the cedar I did was retained, so I assume it would be in other greenery, too, Unfortunately, the color isn’t . Hope this is helpful .
