That is one maaaaaaahhhvelous soap!
-
I agree! Miss Kimberly twisted my arm to buy one. It was a good choice!
-
I can't figure out where the wire goes/is in that pic. E???
But I'm a visual kinda person and I need to see it (even if it's only in my head) and I just can't visualize where the wire would be.
Oops forgot to log out of my secret identity. LOL
I'm not E, but if you look closely in the middle of the "V" portion, you can see the tiny silver wire.

Some day, when I grow up.....I want to soap like that! Great job!
-
It's a shame when all it would take to make a customer happy is a padded envelope, bubble wrap.....and first class postage, especially when you are correcting your own mistake.
Perhaps the owner is too busy buying other people's businesses to be effective at running her own?:undecided

I package mine in the small sachet bags. I get them at papermart.
-
Yes, rebatch it. No need to add more fo. The scent sticks forever!
-
Whatever, I like it. Was that rebatched. I don't remember. I just remember I liked it.
Yes ma'am. It was my pink/purple granite rebatch. LMAO! Glad you liked it!
-
Yes, it did accelerate some, not unworkable for even a newbie (as I was). However, on the cure, it appears that it did rice. It was my first rebatch. It was a nice success. Of course, it was the only soap that I had made a decent swirl in prior to rebatching. ROFL!

I love my oinker soap. It is the whitest of all my oils, making coloring easier (imo). I tried rendering my own tallow and it is slightly yellow. Next time I will try rendering it in a different way.
-
Excellent! Now you can order more! It's a terrible addiction!
-
Excellent!

Looks divine!

Has anyone tried the veggie/paraffin wax from Nu-scents? It is from Munger & Moore. Just wondering if anyone might have tried it?
Nuscents *used* to buy their wax from DPS in Joliet. Why buy second hand? Call DPS and ask for Sheila.
-
Yeah....ok! You win! And, as a weiner....errr...winner, I'll send you some patented Tin Man Soap. .... guaran-damn-teed to turn you purty. ROFL! :highfive:
-
I just wish I could get this swirling stuff figured out!
Yeah, me too. I got the recipe. I just need the technique..
Post some pics, cuz I don't believe you on how bad they are! :rolleyes2Oh, please....you can't suck me in that easy. You just wanna look for the barfing smiley too! LMAO!
-
Yeah, but I've been *doing it* longer. ROFL! I still suck....you're improving every time! Do me a favor and honk when you go by, would you? (Actually, I think I just heard you!)
-
If I bathe with the carrot soap, will my eyesight get better? I sure don't like eating them.
-
They're looking good. I'd show ya mine, but you'd (looking for the barfing smiley). Swirled one with black/silver...yep, we won't go there. Needless to say, the rebatch is a little.....can we say....shaded the Tin Man from WOZ?
How many times can you rebatch the same soap?
-
WOO HOO! Way to GO, Bunny! :whoohoo:
-
Ahhhhhhhhh, Bunny. You're too funny! So what's on the menu today? A little bacon & egg soap?
-
I haven't been to their website in quite some time, but their oils were formulated for gel wax. I'm not sure how they would be in soy (strength wise), but I would order samples before I jumped in. There are a few places (candlesandsupplies comes to mind), whose fragrances will do fine in all waxes.
-
I use IGI 4627 (comfort blend) and BC's 100% soy flakes (not Ez-soy).
-
Good work, toots! I made 3 batches last night....and some salt bars. I think the soap fairies beat my soap with the ugly sticks.....:rolleyes2
Made this last night.
