  1. I will be busy 'feeling my age' this weekend!!! :shocked2:

My 1st baby ... the oldest of my 3 girls is turning 16 on Sunday. I just can't believe it has gone by that fast. Seems like just yesterday we we holding hands to cross the street, giving "Eskimo kisses" and being each others best friend & comfort while her Daddy was stationed overseas.

Maybe I'm crazy .... but I am taking this very hard. Can't even think about it without crying. What a lush, I know. Surely I can't be the only one who has felt this way. I just feel like the count down has started to when I 'lose' her and she moves on with her life and leaves me behind! :cry2: Must end it there cuz I can't see the screen thru all the tears ......

  2. Thanks Louise! :wink2:

No, I wait 6 weekes ..... I had a full batch made when I met this man & his wife. I explained the 6 week cure time. So they bought the whole batch which gave me time to make several batches in advance. !st time around he had enough to last him the 6 week wait and by then I had several batches ready to go. Now each month he buys a full batch, and I already have a cured batch set aside. (for some reason I feel like I am blabbering on and on :tongue2: )

I am sure you get what I am trying to say. lol

  3. Oooooooooooh, I like that brilliant gold. Now I wish I had gotten some in the co-op. Where did you get your Amber Romance from? The one I have turns my soap brown :sad2:

I got my Amber Romance from Alabaster. It is a new scent they are carrying and it soaps wonderfully! I only used 1 oz p/p and I am sure I could have used less. Very nice scent and I would recommend it to anyone who wants AR that doesn't turn brown. :)

  4. (I chose these because when I shop for homemade soap, these are the ones that I always feel every soaper offers and are good basic scents. Plus, I personally love all of these scents and if all else fails, I have enough soap to personally satisfy myself for years :grin2: )

Just because other soapers offer them doesn't mean you have to be like everyone else. When I shop or make I'm looking for something not everyone else has. This is me.

I am the same way. I look for different .... because I am different and don't like to be a 'follower'. I like being a leader. The Patchouli I posted in the gallery is something I insist on making because it is not sold anywhere else around here. People love it and are always looking for it. Makes for great sales!! hth ;)

Smells great and the colors stayed true. I used Select Shades for the swirl on this one. I am pleased with how it turned out.

This one is Patchouli. I leave it uncolored and used Peak's Patch. Very stong at only .5 oz p/p

I have a local customer that won't use any other soap since he tried mine and he buys me out every month!

    Thanks for looking ;)
