  1. I want to find those sticker tabs that you sticks from the top of the jar lid to the side of the jar and have no idea what you call them or where to find them. Instead of using plastic shrink wrap I just want to use those stickers on each side of my jars. Any idea what you call them or where to find them?

  2. I don't know but the description states the following:

This revolutionary base is ideal for creating multiple colored swirls within a single bar or loaf of soap. Colors stay distinctly separate with little attention to pour temperature. This base will allow mp soapmakers to produce swirled or marbled soap traditionally limited to cold process bars of soap. Ideal swirl pour temp is 125-135 F. Allow soap to cure for 24-48 hours open to air before wrapping.

  3. I have never had that happen to my liquid soap but then my recipe is a combination of oils. It could be the EO. I have only added FO's to my liquid soap. Did you add a neutralizer to it, that my be why. I neutralize with borax. Probably not much help but had to add my 2 cents.

  4. I have tried to narrow down why only 1 part of my soap had the dew problem, the only thing I could come up with was that part was colored with mica and the rest with liquid colorants. I re-did a few and didn't use the mica and just used a liquid color and the dew has not returned so far but only time will tell.

I opened the soaps that had dew on them back up and wiped them with a paper towel and then re-wrapped them again. The dew is not as bad but still a little has come back. So frustrating.

  5. I created some tedius soaps and they new have glycerin dew on them. I had put a portion of the soap in the fridge to speed it up and I am sure that is what caused it. I have wiped off the dew and re-wrapped them but will the dew just keep on coming back after a few days?

  6. I have left over prickly pear juice from making jelly so I thought I would make cp soap with the juice.

Do you think I should add the lye to the juice or should I add the juice at trace? I want to try to retain the juice color if possible. :smiley2:

  7. I was having the same problem with lye pockets a few months back and it turned out to be my lye - I was buying it from Ace Hardware and apparently something changed in the product. Once I switched to buying my lye from The Lye Guy my problem was solved.

  8. Kestagano04 - I love that soap :cheesy2:. I am wondering how you get such nice swirls in m&p? Are you pouring different colors at the same time or is there some trick to that? When I try to swirl m&p it fades into the other soap and it is hard to see.
