Are the aroma beads know as or called something else? I am dying to get my hands on some of these, but they don't appear to be available down here in Oz. Just dont know if there is enough profit in bringing 20 lbs in from the States.

The version I have up is for Excel 2007.

For some reason the excel 2007 version seems to want to open as a zip file. Just right click the file and "save as" .xlsx or d/l the excel 2003 version which does actually open fine. They are both exactly the same, just done in different versions of excel.

So now we know why you can't PM...LOL

Sounds nice. I have my Provari and a Grip VV feeder being made at the moment. Still need to try some juice from the US vendors, but will eventually get around to it.

Don't dip your finger into the melter to check the temperature of your wax because you are too lazy to look for the thermometer either. Your finger tip cannot tell the difference between 150 and 250 degrees, really it can't

I have both a laser and an ink jet printer. The laser was bought for label printing, however I found that the ink jet is actually way way cheaper to run (using generic inks), easier overall and less trouble, not to mention cheaper to purchase at the start anyway. The laser just sits here now for the odd thing to be printed, at least until I am willing to spend almost $300 to replace the 4 toner cartridges, compared to $35 to replace the 5 ink tanks for the ink jet.

Personally I don't see too much if any difference between the results of the two different printers. I guess the deciding factor for you could be what you existing labels sheets are, and usually labels are either for ink jet or laser, that perhaps that could also influence your decision?

Have you done any test burns as yet, and if so, what is the burn time per burn and the overall? Looks good

Don't use a heat gun set on 600 Celsius to smooth tops as it tends to crack the glass

Don't brush your arm against said heat gun after using it at 600 Celsius as it tend to burn it

I love the look of GG. We do some in jars, but have trouble selling for some reason. Good luck with them and if you do go ahead and sell, I hope they do well for you.

Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. They look just fine to me. Even if you do get perfection after pouring, subsequent ambient temperature changes can destroy that in any case, so I really wouldnt worry too much. They look great, good job.

Its 464 / palm blend, but even way back when I was using straight 464 I still poured hot. For me it made zero difference to the end result, whether I poured hot or slushy. Me being the kind of person I am could not stand to wait around while the damn wax went all slushy, so it works very well for me.

Thats the great thing about palm. Heat hot, pour hot, get rid of voids, complete, start again. So much easier, but GG palm just does not sell well for us here, and I have no idea as to why?

Yeah thats how i made mine as well- heat to 185F add FO and poured at 100F for the 415. I think i'll wait and see now.I might try another FO and wait a few wks to cure them and see how they go. thanks for you help

See, now here is a perfect example of how things work differently for each person. Yes there are some scents that I need to cure for a number of weeks to get optimal HT, but I also pour very differently to you as well. I heat to 200F and pour at approximatley 180F. 98% come out with nice smooth tops, no wet spots, minimal frosting (reds . browns can be an issue sometimes), and I typically get great HT.

What works for one, does not necessarily work for another. BTW I am not criticizing in any way, just making a general observation

I am sure that sometime ago in a thread somewhere, it was mentioned that someone in the US was stocking it. Maybe someone will remember, but this discussion has been had before and I am positive that someone over your parts did find it.

Monkey farts from NG is one of those scents that will need to sit in the wax for a while to develop before it will thrown Lemon Meringue Pie is another. I use both of these in 464 / palm combo, CDN wicks, 10 oz apothecary jar and both throw very well. These 2 scents I usually let sit for up to 4 - 6 weeks before I sell, with the LMP taking the longest to cure. MF you should be good to go after 1 - 2 weeks. I also use both of these oils at 6%

You do not want to go there! We sent a 3 x 6 pillar and a few melts across to NJ last year, weight was about 1.2 kg or 3 lb. Shipping cost from Oz to NJ was $48 AUD, so one can only imagine what a 55 lb box would cost to ship

Did you try adding 5% container palm to container soy?

Yeah I have tried a whole bunch of various %'s added to the soy and was displeased with the results each and every time. It just would not give me the look and quality that I was after. I guess having the non crystalizing palm here has been great for us and we have found that it really works well.

Perhaps adding a % of pillar soy may have the desired effect as it also has a hinger melt point and is a harder wax as well. The other issue is one of cost also. Palm (at least here) is typically about 25% cheaper than soy, so as well as helping with our product immensely it also helps to keep the cost down some.

Hey there. As Tribal mentioned, ACS or NCS for wax. Which one you buy from will depend on which wax you would like to use. That will take some testing of course. The other issue here of course in continuity of supply. For example NCS has been OOS of some jars for almost 12 months now which is really quite pathetic. Both are or were (as I have not checked recently) OOS of UV stabilizer and will be until July. FO is also hit and miss with supply, although most oils I have tried from both have thrown very well. Due to the supply issues, we pretty much get about 90% of our oils direct from the States now, which is way more reliable and about 1/2 the cost overall inclusive of shipping.
