  1. Can someone tell me which wick burns cooler than HTP105? I have a candle using the HTP105 and I think it's burning too fast/hot. I only have HTP105 and HTP126. Thanks
  2. When you use aroma beads in organza bags as an air freshener, how do you hang it from the rearview mirror? Do I need a stretch loop to get it around?
  3. I haven't ordered from there, but inquired about shipping cost of 50 lb. case of wax. Here's what she quoted me: to Canada via Priority Mail would be $108.25. They also use UPS. She'll give me the rate after I give her my postal code.
  4. I'm sorry for this post!! I had the laptop open and I guess my DD figured out how to reply to post! lol Back to the topic, I bought the same square jars too and I love the look of them. I think they're so elegant looking.
  5. I'm wondering who has a good strawberry shortcake scent that throws good in 464 soy wax?
  6. jvdfjdfkfkerjrtty[quote name=Catlover:) do a label on the lids and maybe put the co. name on the warning label. Now to make a decision on the wax to replace C3.... I talked to a guy at Cargill who told me it was being "phased out"' date=' so I'd rather not try to start making my actual "to sell" candles with it if it's going to be a problem to get in the future. This is not a business venture for the impatient! :smiley2:
  7. I guess that's what I'm looking for...the answers to the questions. What should the wick look like when burning? How long should it take to acheive melt pool? I'm not familiar with all the terms yet either.:embarasse What is hang up? When the bottom half is burning, should it be cool enough to handle? I will try to take some pics next time.
  8. I'm wondering if this is normal. I've been doing small 1 lb batches...melting in my presto pot up to the recommended temperature, then when I pour into the pyrex measuring cup it continues to rise another 10-15 degrees. The wax is low in the pot so the thermometer isn't dipping into too much wax. (Does that make sense?) I do stir the wax to distribute the heat and make sure it's touching the thermometer.
