Need reviews on these fo from JS. Seems like they have the best selection of holiday scents. I have never used their oils before. Don't want anything to piney. If you have better suggestions would appreciate that also. Thanks

These are all great scents, I sold Nostalgia year round. the only one I have not poured yet is Santa's Kitchen. The others are all very good in my 50/50 wax

I like Wildfire or JS, they are identical IMO

Thanks for pulling this old post out of the dust bin. I am sorry others have lost money with the clams they purchased, yet perplexed that others are not experiencing this. I just unearthed an old box of our discontinued Clams and even other bakery and floral scents have now turned skunky. It is not my imagination, it is a big loss of money. Furthermore, when I contacted MC about the issue they said they had never heard another complaint and didn't offer me any options to the issue. All I can say, is I would have liked to have received my money back for the clams at least. This is a sore spot for me.

The Strawberry Rhubarb is excellent. I am switching from WW, it is superior in my opinion.

That is it! You hit the nail on the head! We couldn't figure out what it was about KY's that smelled like something, but couldn't put our fingers on it. YOU hit it: BUBBLEGUM!!!!!!! That is it. Thanks!
LOL, it goes away in application and is very good.
-
She told me it is the old Missy version, but as it was just released I don't have it yet, lol. I'd order a sample and try it out. Personally I like KY's, it is excellent in wax, oob I get bubblegum in the background and it disappears in wax.

I like WYW, TN Candle Supply's Warm Orange Gingerbread, and FOH's. All are different and very good.

cinnamon nutmeg and clove from JS is good
-
can you describe it-besides being creamy? the description doesn't really give me much to go on, is it really different than a regular vanilla? too many choices makes my head spin, lol!!!! it sounds yummy!!!
thanks,
Heather
I think it is a nice creamy vanilla bean type scent. Definitely one of the best vanillas I have burned. She has a few great ones that I have had good success with, I don't carry all in my line, but I like these:
Victorian Vanilla Lace
Vanilla of Pearl
Whipped Vanilla Creme
Creme Vanille---this one is more buttery to me, like KY southern vanilla
Becky's Ultimate Vanilla is great, too.
I have to say, I order from several companies including WYW (BCN) Scent Works, KY, Millcreek, DS, Snowtop (ICS), Backwoods, JBN, GL, etc and I find JS oils to be right up there with them. I use her waxes and have had great experiences with her oils. It is hard to beat JS's CS, same day shipping, no backorders, and sales. All this is why I keep coming back, they are good people to do business with.
If you place another order, maybe ask for the vanillas as your freebies and she will throw them in for you.

I went through my stash of samples and poured both.....I also prefer Peaks, it was more layered, and stronger in my soy
-
JS or Peaks, both are excellent.
-
I haven't tried the super strong strawberry----my search ended with Strawberry Jam, it is perfect. I did have to wick up, too:wink2:
-
Taylored Concepts Vanilla Sugar Cookie is EXCELLENT!
-
I like this one too, it is a great mixer as well.I don't think you can go wrong with anyone's chocolate in soy. It's one of those foolproof scents that work well with this type of wax, at least, this is what I've found. That being said, southern scentsations has an outstanding brownie in soy.
-
Great reviews, thanks everyone!
-
I have had great luck with KY 125
-
what size is your votive? If you are making the 3 oz size, you will need a bigger wick for sure.
-
Just poured this one in tarts and it is a house filler, WOW! Did well in candles, but even better as a tart, great scent, very realistic. A definite must try for sure.
-
I really like this one, it is sweet and quite strong in soy, imo
-
You may need to cut back on the pear scent, although I don't use that one. I use JS perfect pear, and it is wonderful. The JS Cherry cobbler is really good too----maybe try that one. I also use cherry cobbler from King House
-
I love the new Cupid from JS, it is excellent. Very strong in soy.
-
Sounds that way, will be interesting to see what others think
