  1. I use a HTP 84 in that jar with the GB464. A CD 12 or 14 is a second choice. You might up your fragrance load to 8%.
  2. Go to scent finder.com And if there is a supplier that has it then it will come up!
  3. IMC, I know that the ECO's are recommended. I use the HTP's in the 464 and they work great. I got a good buy on it and just wanted to play. I might try 10% FO. Will post later thanks!
  4. I just ordered a bag of this to experiment with. I have been using GB464 and like it very much. Just wanted to know if any of you use it, and how you like it. I have typed it in and nothing came up here on the board. Thanks everyone:smiley2:
  5. I use CD wicks in my paraffin, 4630. In the 3.5 jars I use I use a CD12 sometimes a CD14. 1.5 FO per lb.
  6. Barbara, I think Alabaster is still in business, just a name change...Comminity Candle. Thanks for the tip will check out RE 's muscadine.
  7. Oh yes I am a southern girl, and I know what you mean. I was afraid it would be a grape/koolaid scent from most places which is a nice smell. I just wanted to maybe get close. I have a friend that really wants some candles with this scent and use to buy them somewhere and now cannot find them anywhere. And of course me up for a challenge, wants to master it and make her the perfect one! All the scent descriptions so far do say grape scent. Only one described it with more what sounds like what I'm looking for NG.
  8. I use 464 as well, and have been testing testing testing with the same diameter jar and the CD14 and 16 work fine for me also
  9. I use GB464 and had the same problem recently. I finally mastered it with an LX 26 wick. Good Luck
  10. Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks in advance!
  11. Thank you all, just love all the possibilities we have with this hobby!!
  12. Poured these today using Bitter Creeks Cappuccino Brulee. They smell wonderful!
  13. I know what you mean, but its a great idea. I might go around the house injecting pillows chairs who knows? The possibilites are endless
  14. Well I got it! After 4 failed attempts I found a wick that works great. The LX 24 is the one. Its burning nice and slow, flame just right, scent throw amazing, melt pool moving slowly across the jar and almost there. What a task, but I love it.
  15. The hot throw is great! A CD 10 is working great and also my wood wick! I am happy yea!
  16. Does anyone know if ECO wicks burn hotter than Zincs?
  17. Do the ECO's burn hotter than the zincs? I ordered All kinds of sample packs and they came today. CDN, ECO, CD, LX. So I have a good variety. Now onward!! I tried the 62z, did not work. Still too small.
  18. I know its going to be a task. Whew wish it were simpler. I did find a recommendation for a zink wick- 62-52-18. And on the Cd a 14 or a 16. Keeping in mind for a single wick. On the HTp's a 104. Caramalized Praline is a strong FO. I only have 4 of these containters a friend gave me and decided to experiment.
  19. I have some 4 in wide straight jars and use 4630 wax. I know I will need to double wick this. Going to use caramalized pralines FO, with no color. A good starting point, anyone?
  20. Poured it yesterday in 4630, and I think it smell WONDERFUL. I am testing it now and the throw is amazing. Using a wood wick also.
  21. Well hello Barbara! I should have known to just call you!!
  22. I was sniffing candles in Cracker Barrel, and came across one I liked by VC wood wick. Its Twinkling Mint Cocoa. It reminds me of an andes mint fragrance. Anyone know of a similar FO anywhere? Tried scent finder...no luck. I thought about mixing a little pepermint with choc. Any thoughts?
  23. A great find at my local dollar tree these jars are. I bought several cases. I am using 4630 wax and with many of your fav FO decided to try Peaks Winter Wonderland. It smells wonderful as many of you said! These jars are 3 1/4 wide and I am testing wicks. The 51z is too small. Going to test the LX 18 next. Any input on a wick from anyone who uses this wax and a similar size jar? These are red and green, although the pic does not look like it.
