  1. Thank you so much!!!! Yes, I meant mottles more. I layer and pour starting at 180, then 190, and then around 195 to 200 on the 4045. I used the same temps with the 1274. In your experience what temp do you pour at? Would you suggest going up or down on the temp? I am not using any additives in the 1274, just the FO and liquid color. I also read somewhere the slower they cool the better so maybe I need to try putting a box or something over the mold. Thanks again so much. I love the 4045 but the shipping is absolutely killing me. I can get the 1274 with a much more reasonable shipping charge so that is why I am trying it out.

  2. Does anyone know of a place that sells small ceramic or poly resin candle containers/pots, similar to the bamboo pots that are so popular right now?? I have hunted and hunted and can find nothing. Or something terra cotta perhaps, or anything really that is semi-unusual??? TIA.

  3. Thanks again!! I had tried upping the Vybar a while back and it still bled. I have been wrapping in a paper towel but thought I was just wasting FO. I have not tried the stearic but have some so I will definitely try that. And I do leave off the vybar 343, right? Thank you so very much.

  4. Thank you all so much. That is very helpful. So basically, vybar and stearic do the same thing as far as scent throw and bleeding? I use 4045H and am having horrible bleeding all of a sudden. I make sure I heat to 180 before adding FO at 5% and then backing down to 4%, stir well with a whisk to heat temp, and wa-lah........bleeding and sweating like crazy. I was using Vybar 343 and just thought maybe stearic (and/or) might help. Thanks again!!!!

  5. Yes, maize is that brownish yellow. I tried a tiny bit of orange and almost got it but not quite. I am loving your recipe with the honey and yellow. I will try that. I just love that color.

I use so much of it that it would be more economical to get the liquid and I almost swear that I saw it offered somewhere. Anyway, thanks you all!!!

  6. Thank you Jeana. I have that cream (love it and love their colors) but that Maize is a touch more yellowish. I wonder what with what makes it? I saw on one site that a touch of orange makes it????? I will try that as a last resort but I am thinking ORANGE????? Thanks again.

  7. If a mold makes a scratch on a pillar when removing it, is there anyway to fix it or should you just chunk it? My 3 x 9.5 pillar mold scratches the devil out of my pillars when I remove them. It is on the rim, just a tiny dent. Thanks for any advice. I am sure if it can be fixed, someone here will know.

  8. Is there some way to showcase your oils? I have a lot of customers who are wanting to smell before buying. It is not economical to take a candle in each scent, etc. Can any of you recommend something? Do they make something to use? Thanks in advance!!
