Peaks, Candle Science and Naure's Garden. I didn't see Nature's Garden mentioned often, but they have some great fragrances, a very large selection and excellent custoner service. Very fast shipping.
I have to second their cs!!! The sent my order to the wrong address, no questions asked, they reshipped my order right out with an apology and a sample of one of their new fragrances! :highfive:

I have 2 that i use
Natures garden and Berts
I'm overseas right now so its a pain in the butt with shipping. I found 2 that work so i have stuck to them, although I'm so tempted to try BCS

Thank you everyone for your help!!

How many here use "Heaven Scents" (Bert)? They are very reasonable, how is the quality of their oils for candles? Are they as good as "Bluegrass"? (The best oils I've ever used)
Ive never used Bluegress but i LOVE Berts!!! If you search the board, you will find tons of threads on her stuff!!!

Anyone heard of such a title for an FO? If so, from where? What do you know about the fragrance as compared to other sugar cookies (guessing) and maybe it's iced. Maybe I should get out more if this FO exists lol.
maybe its Mrs Claus sugar cookie? I love this one over the other that i sell, which is old fashion sugar cookie

HEY just curious what color are you guys doing reindeer poo in? I poured up some testers tonight and just left them dye free but husband thinks they need to be an ugly brown...i personally cant see a christmas scent that color? Would love to know!
Thanks
Lysa
Here is what NG says
Use 5 drops of green and 1 drop of black liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax
I used a little green and a touch of black. i don't do measurements since i do small batches of tarts. I can take a pic of the tart if you like

Hi,
I am searching for a REALLY strong peppermint. The kind that will make you cry while burning it.
I have tried KY's Icy Peppermint, but the hot throw was not what I want.
I know a lot of suppliers have Peppermint, but do any have one so strong it will hurt ya? This is to be used in wax, not for skin care products.
Any suggestions would be fantastic!
TIA
I have candy cane from berts, My dh said it was too much and he doesnt complain about my tarts.

I have a fragrance called Santa's Workshop, but I'm lost in what colour to make my candles. My first thought was red, but anybody have any other suggestions.

I have someone asking for this fragrance. They had gotten a tart at a festival. She says its sweet plums with a mixture of spices like cinnamon. Im going to try to make it on my own but was wondering if there was a fragrance already out there. Thanks

Anyone try any of the other cupcake FO's?
I agree on the Lime Cupcake
Reindeer Poo
Cinnamon Yum Yum's
I tried the chocolate cream cheese cupcake and it was awesome! It kind of smelt like it had a hint of coconut! Very yummy!!!

my tarts sink in in the middle. It doesnt seem to bother my customers or me =0). I use c-3 and love it!

I do both. I find the clamshells are easier since you dont have to pop them out of the molds, and package them. But.... I sell more tarts then clamshells here

Awesome!! Thank you =0)
Hey I usually use 1 tsp pp but I have read on here that some people use up to 1 tbsp pp. I have only ever tried the 1 tsp pp and it works great so there was on need for me to add more. So just start at 1 tsp and work up from there as needed.HTH and GL

How much coconut oil would i use per lb? I only make 1 lb max at a time. thanks. Im definitly going to try it.
I just had this happen to me on Friday with my votives and tarts. I used EL votive blend, 7% FO, and little liquid dye. And boy was I very upset when I took them out. The tops looked so perfect but not the sides or the bottom. So I remelted them and some I added coconut oil (which is something I always add to my container candles to help the frost), some I added 15% soy container wax, and some I added both. Well they all came out beautiful this time so not really sure which I am going to go with.Well I hope this gives you some ideas to try, GL

I just pured this in my c-3, tarts tonight and it smells awesome!!! Even oob it is great. I cant wait to burn these and im definitly going back for more. Anyone else tried it yet?
-
I do put them in the freezer, maybe thats why? Hmm. I will have to pay more attention today when making them. I cant remember now if the ones that just poped out with out the freezers help, had the powdery stuff on them. Thanks
Do you put them in the fridge or freeze to cool? I have had that happen when I did that - or had a temp change in the wax -
Thanks for the link, that tart was fresh, i had just made it that day. Maybe its the frosting everyone is talking about. It just started happening and ive been doing this a year. So fustrating.
How old is the tart? I am a newbie too and probably don't have a clue but if I leave my tarts not sealed/covered properly for a few days mine do that too. I think it's the frost. There are threads on this same very thing.. I will try to find you some..

Im using c-3, heating to 180 pouring at 150. Not all the tart bottoms come out with these bottoms but some do and its really strange. I thought at first it was the uv stabilizer not mixing, so i mixed longer then i just threw the stuff away lmao. Im not adding it anymore but im still getting these bottoms on my tarts and its driving me bananas. Ive changed the pour temps, heat temps ect... Any ideas?

i will 3rd that, ng's is nice

i use C-3. I can burn them the day after i make them. They are soft but i love them. I actually switched back to C-3 from Ecosoy, cause the cure time was too long and im impatient!
