yea .. i've had that happen .. just let it burn off for a lil bit .. till the melt pool gets to the edge of the glass .. dip it to put it out ... an trim the wick an you should be good to go .. its no biggie when that happens .. for the next time .. instead of useing a hair dryer/heatgun .. just use your fingers .. pinch the wick an slide up an off to take the exsess wax off .. so the wick stays primmed .. see if that helps ..

I need to find a tested an approved good quality wine line of scents cabernet merlot chardonay and champagne an what ever else there is I was asked by a friend who is a wine distributor , to come up with wine samples .. for a new line they might want to incorp. with there products in gift baskets i've done some research an found these oils at places i've never heard of so i never tried them , also found them to be almost 4 times in price of that in basic candle fo's. this might be an expensive candle line lol would love some opinions on places you all have tried , so i may try them thank you

i have tons of them jars in my basement .. my cousin gave me .. never used them .. dont plan on it either .. lol .. that style jar doesnt sell here .. where i live in jersey .. they dont really like that country homegrown look .. thats what those jars look like to them .. there are a few .. but majority rules .. in this town lol i call them .. I have a secret for the smoothness .. i learned by mistake i was cleaning up a mess .. an used a hot washcloth to clean dye off my counters .. picked up a candle one day with the HOT was cloth and when i picked it up, kinda slipped out of my hand .. cause the hot cloth an the warm wax from just being released .. well .. the slid .. out of the cloth took out the tiny imperfections an i just played more with it .. an its what i've been doing ever since only to parrafin .. doesnt work with soy for some reason .. so thats my secret to share lol .. to get smoothness .. use a HOT wash cloth an gently rub the candle in even strokes lol thank you girls !!! much appreciated ! i hope my cousin likes them

the font i think is called Heidi .. its a rubon .. from making memories .. in the scrappin isle of acmoore i'll be making more pillars yes .. but i only had enough funds to buya couple pounds of wax this week .. when i get paid enxt i'll be buying a 50 pound case lol .. i'm more of a votive tart person .. not so fond of pillars .. but i decided today to whip some up the green is melon vanilla the white is vanilla breeze These are the candle wraps i was posting about for color theme help .. the green one has a silver staple on it that says love , each one has a touch off "bling" lol .. lil crystals that hold the paper on the candle both are a gift for my cusin this weekend.

looking gooooooooooood ! i always add fo first so i know an see thats its blended .. then color , always did that .. you can just wipe off the jar spils with a papertowel no biggie there

i never have a problem with my candles smelling like smoke cause of the build up .. once the smoke is gone i remove the lid .. or i leave it .. either way never had that problem before

I dont know what polawax is .. or what BTMs means .. can you help me with those 2 things

i believe its 1 in apart per diameter of the jar??? its been sooo long since i double wicked anything .. i'm a small candle maker .. meaning i dont make things that need a double wick anymore

i always did about 3-4 days .. mainly .. cause i forgot i made them an was like .. opps ..best test now but i do know people who wait weeks to test so .. i guess is a personal choice

i think ........ 10 minutes is to long ..... i've never preheated .. because of the same questions you asked .. i just kept them in the warmest room of the house which is my basement lol maybe try just 2 minutes .. you just need them warm .. not baked sorry .. couldnt resist

i've been spending alot of time lately .. asking people .. what do you think .. ive searched all product containers and papers .. walked around micheals and acmoore for hours on end putting swatch papers together .. with other accessories .. and i've come up with these color combos .. I am partial to selection D because well .. pumpkin orange is my favorite color lol .. my cell phone is pumpkin orange for criky sake lmao... and my nail polish lmao ! hands AND TOES ! lmao! i'm not going for a primitive look .. or a country look or shabby look .. that does not sell here .. i'm looking for elegant .. and all these colors when done right .. can be elegant this is for .. tags, lables, candle wraps, match books, packaging .. ect.. even candle line colors
