  1. yup thats a good deal, i just went out last night and bought a HP 2600n at Best Buy for $299 plus it had a full set of ink catridges, not starters. I'm loving it and have been changing over my labels most of the day. What a difference a laser printer makes. I was going thru printer catridges with my inkjet about every 6 weeks, with the laser i get 2000 pages and professional quality..

  2. I use this wax and gotta tell ya i pour at around 170. I don't get sink holes in the larger containers (as previously stated) just my smaller 5oz jar. Instead of repouring them or using a heat gun, i put them on a cookie tray in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes, works great. Wet spots, it will take you some time but you'll get past them.....

  3. Humm...after 4 years i don't preheat my jars anymore and have never poked relief holes for jar candles. I use a (touted) one pour wax and if I pour to just where the jar starts to curve in and not to the top then I don't have sinkage in the center (16oz) now the 5oz jars always have sink holes, i just pop them in the over at 350 (yes 350) for 10 minutes or till the tops are remelted and this takes care of everything...

  4. does your candle line have a theme or the name of your candle company? Guess what i'm saying is my candle company starts with a W so I had the letter incorporated into a flame and used two different colors. Actually i didn't come up with this, i hired a student in graphic design to design me a logo and thats what he came up with but i told him my company has a western theme and i wanted colors that were basic so they would not clash with all my candle colors.....

  5. oops, i do know of a place in Muskogee that sells wax but you will need to call to find out prices and brands as last time i checked she didn't have that info on her website. I purchase J223 from her by the pallet...

just google her phone number, Scentury Candles in Muskogee. I just tried to bring up her website but i'm not sure she still has one but i know she's still in biz..also if anyone is in OKC you can buy IGI waxes at Hampel Oil over off SE 27th street, you just need to call Marty and see if he has it in stock, if not he will get it from their Wichita whse, he delivers my mottling wax up to Tulsa N/C cause he puts it on a truck that delivering already and i just go pick it up...

  6. I have a better idea, why not pick it up at the docK of the shippers? If you live in or near a large city usually the trucking company has a location and actually you should get a break on shipping since you would be picking it up at the dock. Be prepared to load it yourself though......find out who the shipper is and then call them to make sure you can pick up from there. A couple years back i was going to have some wax shipped and there was an extra charge if they had to deliver residential so i called to see if I could pick it up at the dock, no problem and shipping was cheaper....

  7. oh...sorry makes sense. Actually our UPS store always has extra bubble wrap as well. Not only do they get shipments but believe it or not people bring in their bubble wrap thinking they can resell it but they can't so thats why the PO and UPS store has extra and they are glad to get rid of it. Another thing you can do is your retail stores in your town have to dispose of theirs so you might call them and ask what they with it. In our town they are required to bag up their peanuts before they put them in the dumpster, i used to buy them trash bags and then go by and pick up the peanuts but i'm kinda beyond that now. They don't get enough shipments to keep up with my demand so thats why i purchase it now.
