I use a 4 inch diameter jar with 4627, and I use 2 HTP 83 wicks. Are you using 1 wick or 2? I doubt you will be able to wick that jar with 1 wick.

I have been testing this wax, and I have not been able to find a wick for it. I have tried HTP, LX, and CD. They all smoked for me, unless they were too small. I am double wicking a 4 inch jar. I just ordered some 4627 to try. I am new at this so lack of experience could be my problem, but I have given up on 4630 for now. The wicks would not smoke at first when it was the correct size, but they would start smoking after an hour or so. I went down a size, but then I didn't get a FMP. It has been pretty frustrating. I hope to have better luck with the 4627.

I have been testing several different wicks with the 4630, but they all smoke and soot. I am debating on whether I should try the 4627 or the 6006. I am leaning more towards the 4627, but does it smoke like the 4630? I don't know which to try!! Thanks, Heather
