Well Said!
I don't completely understand why you're talking about doing consignment when the friend said he was willing to buy some. How much is "not a whole lot?" Are you talking 10, 25, or 100?Instead of dealing with the hassle of consignment, I would sell them to him for $1 each since he is a friend. I would make sure that he knew you were offering him a special deal just to see how they sell, and with his next order the regular rate goes into effect.
Perosnall, since he is a friend I would not sell him any to begin with. I agree that I would simply give him 10 or 12 to start. He could give them to customers who would then see your website or contact information on how to buy more. Hopefully, he will see how much customers enjoy the free air freshener that he will decide it's a good investment and buy them in bulk from you. Air fresheners are so super cheap to make, it just seems ridiculous not to give some away for free as a goodwill gesture to get the ball rolling--especially when the person is a friend who probably doesn't expect or need to make money off of a $3 air freshener, but is really only trying to help you out.

I really haven't noticed any difference. My priority mail comes and goes in 1-2 days. Letters seem to be the same.
They did close our local office (which is understandable due to the fact there are about 7 offices in a 2 mile radius). But it does suck because normally we could just walk up to blocks and there you go. Now we either have to go downtown or have stuff carrier picked up.
We are a carrier scan spot, so they come here everyday no matter what.

OS' date=' what lip fo's have you ordered from them? I just ordered one of the vanilla's that had great reviews and a taste enhanced coconut. But I must say OOB I'm not feeling them very much...makes me want to get back on my "I hate making lip balm" wagon.

We got Peach Daiquiri, Berry Kisses, Banana, and Black Cherry.... all have worked well.

We just got a $500 order from them last month, and I'm please with their service and their products. Haven't tried their regular FO's but their Lip Balm FO's are good.

I wonder why? Did something happen?
She hasn't been around for months.... not quite sure what happened.:tiptoe:

MMMM... Looks Great!

I think work would be good. A lot of places have issue with strong perfumes and what not, so I think that would be a good personal solution.
-
I get them occasionally, and haven't had a problem.
We just poured the cotton last night and it's really good.

Odd product I came across.... I think it's pretty awesome!

We use gels more than bars, so we use poofs.
When I do use a bar, I don't use a cloth.

So then there shouldn't be a problem adding it to all batches then?
And what about the chemical smell that some people report? Does it in fact go away over time?
Thanks

That's crazy!

With the chance that most if not all fo's have some amount of vanilla in them, is there any harm in adding vanilla stabilizer to every batch?
With some of my recent batches, we did get some darkening, which is fine for most of them as they are supposed to be brown or tan, but my beautiful banana now looks like it's a banana that's been out in the sun WAY TOO LONG.
Cost wise, it's only an extra $.50 or so per ounce... which it a lot better than wasting an entire batch of soap.
Your thoughts?

Both my husband and I, our parents, friends, and others all have tested our soaps, and there's no problem. But thanks for your concern! :tiptoe:
