  1. Lorri- so sorry. :embarasse Yes, the link you posted was the correct thread. Sorry about the confusion. It's been a long day! Dragonfly
  2. Hi It depends on how muh your cost was to make the candles. I think most people charge 3 or 4 times the cost as their retail price. But, you have to consider your area too. I have seen 8 oz jj candles for as little as $4.50 and as much as $8. Hope that helps~ Dragonfly
  3. No - this is not the thread. When I posted my title was "how much to take to a craft show" It is right above the thread called "kangaroo blue rant" Dragonfly
  4. Hi I just received an e-mail from Aztec and they are offering 5% OFF any on-line order through noon on Sept. 4th. Plus they have some new fragrances they are offering for only $10 for the first pound. That's all I know of right now. Dragonfly
  5. HI I just asked some similar questions on this same forum a few days ago. Look for the thread - I received some good advice, and the responses may be able to help you with your question too. Dragonfly
  6. Hi Bittercreek sells a "votive tube" it holds six votives and it is clear with a little lid on top. They are nice. Hope this helps. Dragonfly
  7. Love the idea of taking one sample scent with a sign that says "available to order" Thanks everyone for your feedback! Really appreciate it. Dragonfly
  8. Cindys Thank you for your reply. The hard part now will be narrowing down my list of scents to bring!! I'm a scent junkie!! I want to take them all! BUT- more than that, I want to have a successful show! If anyone else wants to offer an opinion- I'd appreciate it. P.S. I really like this board! You rock!! Dragonfly
  9. Hello I have been reading for the past two hours the threads about craft shows. I try not to post if I can find the answer through past threads. I may have over looked this- but I was hoping for some opinions on how much product to bring to a two day craft show. I have about 50 fragrances to choose from. I read where some say it is best to stick to just a few scents (10 or 12) and a couple of jar sizes. Others stated to bring lots and lots of product with you. I only have one space- the show is in two weeks. I have two display shleves and one table with a drape. Looking specifically for suggestions on how many of the 50 scents should be taken. (let's say I only take twenty scents - then how many candles of any parcticular scent would be needed? - three? four?) I know alot depends on the traffic of the show and if the customers are in a "buying mood" or "just looking" mood. I'm interested in the opinions from more experienced crafters. Thanks- Dragonfly
  10. Thank you, Stella. I will do that. Dragonfly
  11. Hi Ronnie I am new- what is the tempering ritual? Why is it done? Just curious. Thanks Dragonfly
  12. I love my heat gun. Use it all the time. Mostly for zapping the tops of any candles that do not have a completely smooth look. Got mine at wal-mart for $20 and have used it for over a year now. Would be lost without it!
