I use a crock pot to melt my wax and dip out of there into my pyrex measuring cups, then I never have to clean the pot unless I want to use a different kind of wax. You can't adjust the temp, but I leave it on low and adjust in my cups as needed. HTHs

WTG, I have almost two years of practice and I still am not sure of selling them yet.

I save all my waxy paper towels for my friends and family who have fireplaces to use as fire starters. They do give off the scent for a short time. I also use cardboard juice type containers as molds, especially for my ice candles.

$30 - 40 a case and it hurts really bad, wish someone in AZ would carry wax.

I love the fall rustics, I have read the instructions on making these but I am wondering if you chill your mold between pouring each layer or just use the water bath?

I use the 1 ouncers for lotion samples. mostly for myself and friends. There is just enough oil left in the bottle to scent the lotion.

Anyone have a good source for pillar wick pins? I need them as long as possible for very tall pillars. TIA

Thanks for all the feedback.

I put them in a plastic garbage bag, then in the freezer for about 15 minutes. I can then drop them on the cement porch and they break up really nice.
