Thanks to all, I had read that it was the same as plumeria but I know it does smell different to me. I have a friend who wants a blend of frangipani and amber. What would be a good ratio to start with? I'm thinking of testing 75/25. Any other thoughts?

Anyone know which supplier has the best frangipani oil ? TIA

I like the tp, looks great. Never would have thought to use it with the lamp. Good job.

Once they're baked, they lose their capacity to absorb any more oil so it's a one time gig
the last pound of beads I bought came in a 6 x 9 ziplock bag, or @ 4 cups, if that helps any.

Nice to see more AZ kids here, I'm down south, near the border.

I still do stockings for my grown boys too, they still get the annual book of life savers in their stockings along with a gag gift....Merry Christmas to ALL

how old or how much time and money spent before you can consider yourself to be a veteran? Just curious...

my best blend is cinnamon with a touch of creme brulee, not too much as it is very strong do like a 3:1. It is awesome in a soy flameless.

CS one is very strong, had to package everything right away as it was way overpowering.

Hi from AZ. Like everyone else, I have been practicing for two years now. My testers are telling me that things are looking good with my rustic pillars. I know they are awesome to look at, but they are burning good too. Yeah, finally I will take some to a craft show in Dec and give the public a shot. Scary scary first for me. I read somewhere that candle making is an addiction to which I must say " I am a full fledged member". Someone here already said, it is cheaper than going to a therapy, I belive that too. And if I never ever sold one, I would still be a happy camper. Friends and family would get great gifts and I would be broke all the time.... but I love it. Keep the wax melting.......

I hqve good luck with the rrd55 in my 3" palm pillars, just remember to trim the wick to 1/8 inch not 1/4. HTH

Wow, now thats a neat idea? How long does the fragrance usually last on these?
I have some from last year that still smell pretty good. Kept them in closed bags all year.

Is basket arrangements what everyone uses the dipped pinecones for? I don't know why I'm asking...I'll never get around to making any! They are all really nice and I can almost smell them from here.
I made them for firesarters, but they do work for decorations also

If you like it, then it's perfect.... I like it too.

Thanks! Let me think how long I have been making candles.. I placed my first candle supply order in July 2000, so 7 years. I love it, especially pillars, cause sometimes you just never know what they will look like and the waiting for them to cool before you get them out of the molds seems forever but that is part of the fun and trying new techniques etc.
I love that part too, is that called anticipation or no patience?

I have no luck with jars and wicks but I don't see why not. Give it a try and let everyone know.

Thanks for being so helpful.

What company has the best smelling, best selling Christmas FO's?

Does or has anyone used the wick crimps on your pillars? What is the pros and cons? TIA
-
Heck no! It's a beautiful thing! Yours turned out really lovely.
Thanks, I'm trying very hard, this is so much fun and such a stress reliver for me to be creative. At my real job, I have to follow the real rules...

Dipper, I see frosting.
Scented love the veins. Forgot what scent you were doing. They look awesome.
These classes are so much fun. Gives me the courage to try these new to me techniques.
Is that a bad thing? I kinda liked it...
