Looking good! Some words of WISDOM......1. DO NOT solder in spandex! Those little blobs of solder make BIG holes and it doesn't feel good. 2. ALWAYS wear shoes in your work area. 3. Buy bandaids but have fun! Stained glass work is a bigger addition than scent buying lol. Don't ask me how I know these things lol!
Thanks for the words of wisdom ........ I will take them to heart!

AZ native here, not sure I would live anywhere else. You can always cool down during the summer heat and the sunsets are awesome with the mountains and clean air that we have here. Come visit.

air freshener by Frebreze. Anyone smell this?
I know on the box of plug ins it has ginger / nutmeg. Any ideas what percents I would start with?

We have SNOW on the mountains all around us down here in Southern AZ, and from what I see on the weather, more to come in the next couple of days. The mountains in Bisbee look pretty well covered from here, about 30 miles away. Brrrrrrr

Quote of the day goes to Antonia with the "Some people are like wet spots... you just gotta embrace em or you'll go crazy trying to fight em"
:laugh2: I so want to put that on a T-Shirt, but only candlemakers would understand it!!

I added sterin at 1T per lb of wax. I have tried cd 5's, 51-32-18's and no hot throw. Could it be the sterin?

Help! can't get a good scent throw, need help with what wick to use, using fall scents at 4%. Thanks

I use soy 435 wax, use LX 8 for t-lites and LX 12 for votives. I have several of the LX 10's if you want to try them. How many candles are you making? PM me and I'll send you some.
Thanks for the offer, but I couldn't get anything to work well so I switched to 1343 wax and all is well. Thanks anyway.

I am making wedding votives for a friend. The container she brought me are smaller than a regular size votive. I tried a cd4 and I think this is going to be too much wick. Any suggestions on what other size and type to try. I still have a month to perfect them. I am using gulf tide fo and navy blue liquid dye. TIA

It is more of a Hippie scent. I don't like perfumes. Never have and really dislike smelling it on others. Gives me an instant headache. But I've been wearing a Frangipani oil since I was 16. I'm now nearing 46. I'm far from a hippie but this is still my husband's favorite scent I wear. The place I originally used to buy it from was a head shop that sold these oils and sterling silver jewelery etc. I don't wear it every day and had stocked up on it in my home town some years ago. The brand I use is called Spiritual Sky.
Well, we were at an open market last summer here in Green Bay, WI and went into some of the local shops near by and one ended up being a head shop and there was my Frangipani Spiritual sky oil again. This one isn't at all like any kind of floral smell.
Nice..thats the one I want. Will keep searching for that brand. Thx for the info.
