I ended up listing mine on my site for$15 but have been thinking I want to have them sitting on something so I think I'm going to change it to $20. Where do yo uget your glass plates?
-
I think everyone does it a little different, I add mine with my unmelteld wax, others add it wick color and FO.
-
yeah I don't think the name works either but it smells good!
-
The only time I get any soot is if I blow the candle out. But you may want to post in the veggie wax board you may get more answers.

Good Luck! ALways feels like christmas when I get my orders of FO (is that sad!)

I'm in South Bend, IN I have just started making dipped bears, I may be interested let me know what you are thinking of doing!
-
I buy from MC also I usually use the cozy home also, but try calling it something else that helps too. I just bought a bunch of fall/winter FO to narrow sown what I wanted and I agree alot of them smell the same, I was surprised by the Hillbilly Homebrew it actually smells pretty good, I think I'll call it something else though!

Is anyone thinking Christmas yet? I just had a lady call and ask if I was going to be having any christmas specials:shocked2: she wants to start her shopping early! I have been getting ready for a big craft show and so Christmas has not even crossed my mind yet! That being said do any of you that make dipped bears know where I can find christmas type bears?

Tricia I thin kthe bears are easier than the candles! Messy Though!

Oh and the orange clove is only $5 a# ! I got some of that, candy corn, spice and apple, grape jelly, cinnomon spice, oatmeal raisin, and spiced plum. I must be feeling spicy huh!

I just put it in with my wax before I melt.

Looks Great!:highfive:

Did you use a Mold? I think they look fine maybe just need more icing!
-
I know what my costs are to make them I was just curious what others were selling them for and if they were a big seller for anyone.
-
Their prices are a little higher than what I pay at Mill Creek and shipping is about the same.
-
I have just started making these and until now have just been giving them to family but now everyone seems to want them! My question is what should I price them at? I am seeing a range from$12-$25
-
I used purple and brown and got a real deep brown, I didn't have any black!
-
My first batch that I tested with CO did this! I think I added too much, I decreased it to 1 1/2 tsp. and have not had th problem since! Hope that helps! But too you can fix them with a heat gun or hair dryer!
-
I forgot to say I sell them for $10 but have seen people selling the same ones for $15
-
Here is where I get mine, If you order 12 or more they are only $5.50 for the ceramic ones:yay:
-
I pay about $50 with shipping for 50lbs. But I am in the same state as my supplier. Check out Mill Creek.
-
I wrap mine in bubble wrap and then put them in a buble envelope. I have had no problems yet!

I'm not sure if someone mentioned this I didn't read the whole post, but the last shower I was at we bought little plastic babies small enough to fit in an ice cube tray. put the babies in add water and freeze. Give each guest a plastic cup but a frozen baby in it the first one whos "water" breaks wins! No cheating you can't take it out of the cup or blow on it!
