okay the new name is Psychedelic Sandman (thanks Heather!) its a mix of Anise, chamomile neroli EO blend, cedarwood, and 5 fold orange. so technically its 5 fragrances. the anise I was worried would come out to strong, but it is mellowing nicely.
The new name goes great the the colors. Beautiful soap.

I've heard of the new Crisco being used for soaping. Quietgirl's recipe has Crisco in it and the new Crisco still makes a nice bar of soap. The new Crisco is mentioned in the last two pages, if I remember correctly.

Edit to add:
Hi Jacqui,
I just saw that you already have the information. Hope you have fun soaping.

I like a 20% superfatted, 100% coconut oil soap.
Darwin's recipe has 5 oils, but I do like it. It has CO, PKO, castor, grapeseed oil (sometimes I'll sub a different oil like olive oile) and shea

I think that starrville.com has tallow. Unfortunately their eshop is experiencing some difficulties. However, their phone number is listed on their site.

I have used EVOO in soapmaking. It works as well as ordinary OO. However, in my experience, it does leave a green tint to the soap.
I've used EVOO that's a couple years old for food and it's still okay. (I don't know if I should admit that here. :embarasse) The oil is stored in a cool, temperature stable enviroment, away from sunlight - a cabinet in a bedroom.
