We started a candle business from home after Harricane Katrina and we are still going strong we do alot of fundraisers and we now have a website I'm because I'm always looking for new and better ways of makeing candles and general info.
I just went on my candle prices since wax went, up ser charges for gas on shipping so now I sell the 8oz jelly jar (my biggest seller)for $10.00 , 2for $18, 3for $27, 5for $45 and they still sell great Neil
I charge that much so each school or group makes a 30% profit and I make some too we do great with our fundraisers in fact a school team call today to start one now till school starts Neil

When I pour layered candles I polk relife holes in each layer and allowing each layer to harden some before the next one hope this helps Neil Crisanne's Candles & Gifts
I have found that usually 2x cost works good for wholesale and anywhere from 3-4x cost works for retail and 5-7x cost works for fundraisers depending on the % of sale given to groups Hope this helps Neil crisanne's Candles & Gifts
