Soap and water! Works for us..

We have 2 one with the valve and one without. I hate using the one with the valve because water sometimes sits in there after cleaning.. or the wax gets stuck in there.. So we just pour right out of the presto.. works great.. Plus the valve,pipe,tap and bit could add up... HTH

No it was in a bathroom no drafts.... It burned fine and then when I lite again everthing went down hill.. Thanks for the reply. Now I am going to pull my hair out...

Ok went to light candle for fist burn.. 6 hours looked perfect.. good MP no shrooms.. blew it out. Couple of hours later lit it again and I got a jumping flame and mushrooms started growing ??? wick did not need trimming. anyone got any ideas ? why this happens? thanks. K

Ok I did alot of searches on this! including the web. Do you guys who sell candles get these little buggers? And your ok with that ? Is there anything to really cut back on these. I have tried everything. smaller wick,bigger wick,parrafin,soy,a blend of the two, differnet fo's and yet if its the first hour or 6 hours later those things keep ending up on the wick. when is it ok to have them? as long that it does not effect the MP? Personally I think it makes the candle ugly and sometimes it does effect the burn. And I have tried I think every wick out there. how come I don't see these on yankme candles or any other top selling candle? Kinda venting! I never did like mushrooms even the real kind! Any suggestion? thank in advance!

yes I rip the wick out.. and put a new one in.. works for me...

Thank you both for the replys. I have tried alot of other companies. CS,NS,genwax,well,peaks. I felt peaks had the least amount of hot throw. (am I the only one)? the others don't really sell basic scents. Did you guys use the premium? My concern is if people had alot of problems with them that maybe I should look somewhere else for FO's. :tiptoe: so my next question would be, who sells good FO's for soy that don't have 26 different scents mixed to make one. Im looking for a basic scents like vanilla, lime, blackberry. Not vanilla pecan, lime cooler, blackberry walnuts. do basic scents exsist? this makes "no scents" im sure that has been said a hundred times.... you guys rock thanks for the info!

Ok we been using wellington FO's and been having good results. Why all the bad mouthing about wellington? I like the fact that they have basic scents that you can mix to make your own.. but why is it so many people don't like them? is it the throw ? service? min order? we are using the premium oils with c-3 thanks.
