Here you go. I like shotgun shells in the light grey & the copper mica. Perfect!! . I did a show this last weekend and I sold all the elk grubbies with the riffle shells. . Yipie!

I made the shoot gun shell. I am trying to pour them in wax with grey.. But I can't make that copper color.. for the bottom. Any suggestions?

You weren't asking a question why, but gave me a lesson in acid mantles. I didnt take it as if you wanted to learn something. Sounded snotty to me. Thus my repsonse.

I asked if anyone has made lotion with Ionic water? ( You can make inonic water from 7.0 to 11.5) I understand all the skin and the acid mantle.When the skin is about 7.45 then you can fight infection still. Anything above that is not good for the skin. Babies are born with skin that is 7.0-7.35 . Same as the blood. I am more interested in the ORP factor.

I am drinking the water at 9.5 for health reasons. I am going to make the lotion with it. Didnt know if anyone has seen a differance with them.

Kepping your body Alkaline is the key to a healthy life. Ionic water is a useally a ph of 9.5 and it has all the bacteria and is filtered through a machine.

I would think it would be a better way to make lotion since it is an antioxidant?

Ionized Alkaline Water is produced by a unique health appliance called a Water Ionizer. The Water Ionizer first passes the water from your kitchen faucet through an advanced filter to remove pesticides, chlorine, and contaminants. The water is then put through the ionization chamber and electrically splits the filtered water into alkaline water and acid water. This is done by running the pre-filtered water over positive and negative electrodes.

A Water Ionizer has two water chambers with positive and negative electrodes. The common alkaline minerals concentrated by the water ionizer to produce alkaline water are calcium, magnesium, manganese and potassium. The acid minerals that are discarded include chlorine, fluoride, sulfur, phosphorus, bromine, silicon and copper.

Water Ionizers were developed in the late 1950's by several Japanese Agricultural Universities. After the health benefits were well-researched and demonstrated, the water ionizer was approved as a Health Improvement Medical Device by the Health and Rehabilitation Ministry of the Japanese government.

The better quality Water Ionizers have several levels of alkalinity. You can begin by drinking mildly alkaline water, slowly increasing the alkalinity over time. A water ionizer will typically produce water with a pH between 7 and 10. Alkaline water in the 8.5 to 9.5 range is sufficiently alkaline to produce the health benefits desired.

Deionization does not remove the hydroxide or hydronium ions from water. These are the products of the self-ionization of water to equilibrium and therefore are impossible to remove.

I used Lilac, Lemon and plumeria equal parts for my brothers wedding. It was awesome.

Does anyone use ionic water for the lotions or creams?

It is probably the menthol vapers in the mint. It might be high. When I make my msm creams with menthol it takes twices as long as the reg lotion. I think this is because it keeps the surface tention open. But that is just a guess.

I think I will make a mold so that they can be safe for candles. It would be a great fathers day gift!!!

What a cool idea. I dont know about the shotgun shells. Those are plastic. I dont see buringing those. The fishing lure is a plastic also. Way to too...... cool... :smiley2:

Send some to a friend in the mail ( A trial run) to see how they fair. I do that with my father all the time.

Just a note on your house insurance also. Make sure that you contact your home owners insurance company and let them know you are making candles in your home. That also includes gel wax, wax, fragrance, and dyes... My customer Marty burnt his house down with a presto pot. Because he did not tell them he had a business in his home. The insurance company did not want to pay him. They came to an agreement, because he did his business in the garage, but only 70%pay off. So they could only build half a house again.. There are more nice people than, the not so nice here. This board is for researching and learning. Just type in the search , and you will find all kinds of threads. OMG.. I have been testing lotions at all these health food stores. Almost all 99 % of them are testing possitive. Not only Possitive Gram, but Neg Gram Possitive... Red Beastys.( Staf, Ecoli, Samonlia, Fectal) Are you kidding me!! One company Pure Life Soap Co is full of colonys. I cant believe all this. I am terrified. I have opened a huge can of worms!!!

Ok.. I used to be on Amazon and they kicked me off because I dont have pictures with the white back ground. What program does that? I thought I had beautiful pictures, but they want no color what's so ever. If anyone knows how to achive this , I would appreciate it.

Don't be grossed out. If the emu oil is refined well and proper there should be no protiens in the oil. I did buy the 10 gallons of oil from simon. He gets his oil refined at EPMI , Which is well respected.. I am so happy...My father will pick it up hopefully for me in San Fransisco on Wed..... Knowing your oils is the key. Yipie.

Is anyone coming across this problem with suppliers and only wanting all natural? Because the preservatives that are out there are not all nautral... but just not parabens.

I do the petri dish.. with agar.. But I play mad scienist... LOL I think that the snowdrift would work for oils also. Email him and ask...

I have also a lot of people asking how I got the blood out of the emu oils.. I think I should ask any of you that got that oil form Land of milk and Honey to please do this step.

Maybe if enough people did this.. they could email them and complain.. because it is just not up to pharmacy grade, really.

Ok, Take a pot and dump the emu oil in , then add that much water. Equal amounts. Then bring it to a med boil for 5 mintues. Then remove it from the heat. Let it rest for about an hour. Then pop it into the freezer for two days. Then take a knive and cut it up. The water will be at the bottom, with the impurities. You can see the proteins and floaties.. yuck.. right, But this way it will clean up the oil.

I have done this process for about 11 years now. Amazing what you will find. EPIC called me and Cheryal ask me what did you do to your oil.. and I said why. She said that my oil I sent to them was purer than the process in which they did. All I did is just render it .. the process above.

Of course veg oils wont have blood in them.. but it will take out the immpurties some. With the naked eye you wont see them either.. but they are there.

I am on the search for a new supplier. I had emu oil on "Bank" with my Refinery.. But due to the economy.. they closed.. Crap , right. So I have been tesing and no one comes close to the oil I produced. I just can't do that rodeo anymore. I just got samples from Renu... only 175.00 gallon but it reked.... I mean I almost threw up.. WOW.. how would people send that out the door, really.

Anyone out there that knows where I can get emu oil at wholesale pricing. I buy useally 10 gallons at a time. I would appreciate it. The peroxide vaule needs to be .1-.3 ..
