The FO is a great thrower for me So I know it is not that. The wick is burning great also. It's just when it is burning I can barely smell it. I guess I will have to keep playing around with it. But at least I am getting closer to getting it right

I am making 2 ounce tins. I now have the right wick to make them But I am having trouble with the HT. I made one with .10 grams of FO. To me the HT is still not strong enough for me. Should I up the FO more and see. The FO I am using is banana nut bread from JS and it has allways been a great thrower for me. Oh and I am using JS's 123 wax Which is all paraffin with the additives already in it.

I am tring to get two oz tins wicked I am so fustraited I am about to give up. Heres what I have done so far

2 oz of JS123 paraffin wax

.8 grams of Cranberry Orange Spice JS

1 44-24 zinc wick

No dye

The CT was good But now that I am burning it The HT does not seem very strong. I can smell it But weakly. But the tin is staying cool to the touch and the flame looks good also. Did I maybe not add enough FO. Or maybe to much FO. I really want to get these tins going good. Other wise I may have to give them up:sad2:

I know this is a small candle But I should be able to get a good HT from it.

I was just wondering what sells better soy or paraffin. I was making 2 oz jars and I gave up on soy and soy blends Now I am tring straight paraffin. It seems to be doing better. But I am worried that they may not sell good because there all paraffin. What do you think.

I almost got the wicking down for my 2 oz tins. I finally got a great ct and ht going. Now I need to figure out a wick that won't make my tin to hot. Here is what I have done so far

2 oz tin

2 ozs of 4626 wax

.6 grams of fo I used Black Raspberry and Vanilla from JS

83 HTP wick

I am thinking about tring the 73 HTP wick and see How that one works. I may also try some zincs cause they burn cooler. If I use the zincs what size should I start with I was thinking maybe a 44 What do you think

I use the ones from candle science and they don't have that plastic smell.

I used Blackberry & Sage from natures garden When I make my melts I also have to wait 7 days before I test them

I made some testers today. I made 2 2oz tins with 4627 wax fo from natures garden and HTP wicks. Then I made a 2oz stratus jar with the same wax and wick and fo combo. Now I am waiting 24 hours to test them. I hate waiting I keep wanting to burn them. I have to keep telling myself not yet. Is it tomorrow yet

Well I decided to chuck the 6006 No matter what wick or fo I just could not get a good HT. So now I am going to try some 4627 and see how I like this one. I also ordered some htp wicks to try in it. I am not gonna let these little tins get the best of me I will find a wick and wax that I am happy with. Of corse it may kill me LMAO
