  1. My business name is KC's Centsations Candle CO.-

I came up with this name one day after getting out the shower.:cheesy2: I was getting dressed putting on some oils and scentsations came to mind. I thought of doing something with me and my husbands name. My name is LaKeshia but people call me Keshia. My husband name is Corey. So I thought of K=Keshia, C=Corey, and centsations. So that's how I came up with KC's Centsations.

  2. It took me alot of different trys to know which ones were good. And boy am I glad I finally got it.:smiley2: I brought some FO's from off the board I think the company name is Long Star but anyways, I got a Apple Slices and it was GREAT. But my main companys I buy from are Nature's Garden and Greenleaf. I never have a problem with them. It's all good.

  3. Since it's a natural ill feeling with those two, some days worse than others, I imagine it's me who has the problem and not the FO.

:D I feel you with that. I have no problems at all using the FO I use now, so far so good. But I've had my daysssssssssss! Gosh. lol. Finding that right one can sometimes be crazy specially when you have a LONG list of FO's. (not me) I feel for all that testing.:shocked2: Thanks Scented for your input.

  4. I use serveral companys for scents but I was wondering when it comes to FO scents, which company can you always count on to have the best scents all the time? I know for me, I have gotten a scent from a company and loved it the first time but the 2nd and sometimes even the 3rd, I was not as happy about it.:undecided Do you have a company you use all the time because thier scents are always on point? Do tell please.:D

  5. Mine are $8.50 each or 2/$16.00

HOWEVER,,,,,, I have several northern stores that sell the heck out of these candles during tourist season. They charge $10.50 and $10.95 and people don't blink an eye.

Then again, it's a different market than craft or internet sales.

2/$16 is an excellant idea.:D Didn't think of that. Thanks

  6. My price on them are $9 and I haven't had anyone say my prices are too high. But like anything; price for your area. And make it worth your while, no use doing all that work if you aren't getting paid for your time and work. Ask me how I know. I kept telling myself you sure are some cheap labor.

I was thinking the same thing as far as cheap labor.:undecided I sell mine for $10 with no problems now. Now meaning, when I first started selling them some people thought "oh, wow $10"? Until they smelled them and seen how GREAT the wax burns. I don't have any problems at all selling them now and have been thinking of only selling this size. I was just wondering about other areas too. Thanks

  7. I think your website look good. And like everyone else, I love your soaps. With time, you will get it just like you want it. Keep working at it. I'm still everyday changing things. Scented, you are giving her some excellant feedback. I think we all need you to look at our websites.;) LOL Just kidding but I know she's very thankful for that. I love this board because it's alot of help here. Best of luck to you.

  8. What is the normal screen resolution? I see on some people websites you have to scroll over and on some it's not need. I have two websites and on my candle website some people say they have to scroll over. I hate that.:rolleyes2 But on my computers, my website is perfect. Is there anyway I can let my visitors know the best way to view my website without having to scroll over? Thank you for your help.

  9. I wish I had it as a domain name :(, it's some site that has tons of links on it darnit!

    Angi

I'm the same way. I will change things a thousand times before I just go for it. I'm in the process of changing things now.:tiptoe: Since someone has this domain, how would that work with leaving your logo alone? Will you still use the same name? But it does look very GOOD. I love it just wish no one else had it.:cry2:

  10. I'm now coming into buying different size jars for my new candle scents and wanted to ask the jar candle makers do you sell your candles a dollar

per oz? I use to use tha same jars all the time but I see so many nicer jars out there, I thought I would move right along and try new things.:cheesy2: Right now, I'm between both selling them a dollar per oz and coming slightly under a dollar per oz. With my 8oz mason jars I'm selling them for $10 but with my 24oz jars I'm selling them for $20. Should I or do you sell your candles a dollar an oz? Things are working great but I always try to be fair. I have alots of returning customers but I too ask myself would I buy a candle for that much. Just thinking. Thanks for you help.

    Thinking......thinking......just thinking

  11. I like it as is and your site is nice. One thing though. Am I the only one who has to scroll to see the whole page? I personally don't like sites like that, JMO

I do understand. I also know that people like different

things so that's not a problem with what you like. But my website is best viewed at 1280 by 800. Sorry for all that have to scroll over.:sad2: You may also view a little smaller.

  12. Thanks arkangel. I was just thinking of a way to use the KC on everything. With that K, I faded it out to make it fit on this page but I'm sure I can figure out something with the same logo.:smiley2: Thanks so much for responding. Not only arkangel but everyone.

  13. So is there ever a time when you pour the same FO, the same wax, and use the same wick but the candle still burn differently? Well for me that happened. Now, I'm not sure if I poured the candle different but they burned different. So I'm wondering do you have to pour at the same temp? And I do test because I have learned how important it is to test. Sometime I do feel some people feel like they waste alot of time and money testing. I think it's worth it.
