  1. Thanx for the comments, arent those colors something? I'm already thinking of another color combo with these darn pops! :angry2::rolleyes2

Pretty! Do you swirl at thick trace?

Yes, kept the color from blending too much, but the green was cool with these colors, if i mixed too much.:)

Very nice! I'm not going to come back to the gallery until all of you shut up about these freakin POP colors!...ya know I don't like messing with colors..but..umm... these prettyful colors are making me want to playyyy:(

I totally feel you on that! :grin2: I felt like a kid, waiting on the mailman, eager to play in my new paint kit. You might as well, get ya paints out and join the fun.:P

( I'm almost too eager to unmold these babies as I type!:waiting:)

  2. I am loving my pops sampler, the colors are so vibrant! The scent is , cotton blossoms, (renamed clean cotton). The blueberry and lemon drop pop, really do as described. Honestly, I just couldn't wait to use them, even tho I'm low on supplies, and got a wonky scale.:rolleyes2

  3. Soap and mold look gorgeous, but I just wanted to tell you your hair looks amazing in your avatar, lol. I have been trying to figure out how I want to wear my hair these days, so while others are looking at soap, I am over here looking at hair:grin2:

I'm a stylist so I'm always trying something new. Thanks Z!

  4. Your soap is gorgeous. And that mold looks like something that I would love to have...one of these days. I have everything here to make my first CP batch...hopefully Wednesday will be the day.

I've been pouring candles for over 7 years and making M&P soaps plus other body products for about the same length of time. I've always admired the CP & HP soaps and finally decided to give it a whirl.

Maggie, once you start, you will be addicted!:D

  5. I take a bit of my oil out for the colors. Just got in a gallon of glycerin and a bunch of bottles, going to premix all my colors.

What ratios do you use to pre-mix your colors? I have some glycerin, and some 2oz squeeze bottles. Should I put 1oz color in the bottle then add 1oz of glycerin? :o I'm very interested in a easier method, I didnt know you could do this! Certainly makes sense to me.:smiley2:

  6. I am so happy with my new Jeff mold, it's definitely a beauty! I was pouring my first batch 2-hours after it was delivered.

:D I didn't have too many scents on hand, just a few samples, and I had been playing with some color combo's so I used a J-lo dupe called Glow. It soaped and behaved pretty well, smell great too! I'm currently looking for some nice scent recommendations from Southern Soapers, which is where I'm ordering from next.

It's a 9-bar mold and each soap measures 3.5x2.5. Perfect for me as I'm still practicing my swirling. Jeff I already know what mold I want next! :highfive:

I poured my first batch 2-hours after it was delivered and I luuuv it!

It's a 9-bar mold, just right for me since I'm small time, and still practicing on swirling. Each soap measures 3.5x2.5.
