Thanks guys for all your help. The color charts will help alot and I do have a color wheel somewhere. I just love making tarts and embeds. It's so much fun. Sometime I'm a little impatient and probablly take them too soon. I'll try leaving them in a little longer.

I'm looking for a color chart for making embeds. I just can't seem to get them the right color. They always have a greyish haze to them. They are not vibrant colors like I want. Always kinda of dull looking TIA Oh, and I'm using
parrfin wax

Welcome Gabbie. Your cupcakes look great. Can't wait to see more creations from you when you get all your supplies in.

Just wondering if everyone scents their embeds. Or do you add a little more fo to whatever you are adding your embeds to. I do tarts only. Another ? is... do you ever mix ...a cinnamon scent from one place with a cinnamon scent from another place. I have so many bottles with a little bit in them. Do you do the Q tip test first ? TIA

What about the clam shell tarts. Doesn't the wax have to be soft enough to break. What are some suggestions on wax for thoseTIA

Very nice job, my mouth is watering. I have been trying to perfect my cinna buns for months now. Maybe one day I'll get it right. Yours look awesome. If they were on a plate at my house, I know someone would take a bite out of one. What a surprise they would get

With a name like Hillbilly Home Brew... I would have to pick it up and give it sniff just out of curiousity. But I also like the idea of using two different names in two different containers. JMO

When I click on that link...it says page cannot be found. Anyone else having that problem? I would really like to have that chart

Use your hole puncher and punch your hole in them where you will be running raffia etc before soaking. After they have soaked for a little while I take them out and take a wire clothes hanger and straighten it out and run it through the hole in freshner. Hook hanger over a shelve, put newspaper down and hang up to dry.
That's a great idea for drying them on the clothes hanger. That way both sides will dry at the same time Thanks for sharing

A GM plant is closing in my state as some other GM plants in 3 other states. This is not good at all. The last show I did was bad and now this makes things worse.
I guess the only way I will do good is if I get on-line orders.

Same here in Canada. Big GM plant in Ontario is closing. 2500 workers out of a job

You know what I see at a lot of shows is the TIME OUT chair. Doesn't have to be made out of oak, just a little chair or bench. They seem to sell great just a thought

I find the electric warmers work the best for me. With the tea light ones, it seems like the area between the flame and the bottom of the bowl is too close and I get a burnt smell sometimes. I trim my wick too. Thanks for the replies

Thank you guys for all your help. If I ever make one, I'll post a pic

That is awesome looking. But how do you get the top to look like that. I love them

Yeah, SatinDucky that is kind of like the ones I saw, but with the mason jar, you use a smelly jelly lid. Thanks for the video

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here goes. Why is it that all the caution labels for tarts say to use them in a non electric tart burner. Hummm

I don't see a link to the video

Couldn't find any pictures on there. Those sound neat, but the ones I'm looking for have pot pourri in them. I pot pourri ones probably be cheaper to make also. Thanks for that link, lots of good stuff on there.
