Not after you shake it to mix it up well. I was surprised as well that it mixed so evenly.
Love it.

Made my first soap about 7 months ago so I guess about 6 months would do it. Don not plan on using commercial again.

I didwhat Sherri did. I bought an extra stainless steel bowl and another whisk so I have one set for food and one set for B&B although I really don't think I needed to since they clean up easily.

With the one piece for the sides and bottom it lifts out easily for me or I turn it over and give the foam a tug and it slides right out. I get square corners with the one piece. I used a spoon or kife handle (can't remember which) and ran it up and down the place where the side and bottom meet to get a good fit. It fits in the mold well and it does not leak.

I used a large sheet of funky foam for my log mold cut to length and stuck it in the mold and creased the edges where the bottom and sides come together. Then cut 2 end pieces so that makes 3 pieces for my log mold. In other words, I used one large sheet down one side across the bottom and up the other side. Much easier than cutting seperate sides and a bottom for me.

I bought a similar one off ebay but it was from a seller in Texas, if I remember correctly. I like it though. The one I bought made 28 bars.

I also buy from AAA and in an emergency from Ace Hardware locally. Never shopped for price anywhere else. I am just lazy I guess.
