  1. I think that if you are pretty caught up on other orders, I'd go for it, esp since they are a good customer. we always break our back for our customers when possible, keeps them coming back. Would certainly charge extra, that's just business. I've seen extra charges from 20 - 75 dollars extra, plus extra shipping if shipping is involved. We almost never turn business down, even if we have to work 16hr + days to get it done. HTH

  2. The Pink Lime IMO smells like Pink Lemonaid, more tart than sweet. It's a great thrower & I sell lots of it, this time of year.

I need a mold to make pink colored lemon weges to put on top. or make some in drink glasses like these.

I found some silicone molds just for this purpose at Bed, Bath and Beyond tonight (the wedges)....$2.99 for two trays. I thought it was a bargain. Thought it might help!

  3. I've been struggling for quite some time for the perfect color for mango papaya. I want a peach-ish orange color. Have tried many shades of orange (looks like a pumpkin to me), have tried peach dye...too pink. Also accidently found a great color for gold. I use liquid dyes. What does everyone use for mango papaya, and how do you acheive it? I have a mandarin candle, which is a beautiful orange/red, but want a different color for the mango. Any help would be so appreciated.

  4. Sorry Fire, and everyone else. Shouldn't have expressed my feelings that way. I'm a litle stressed out..business is so busy right now, and my father has lung ca and has taken a turn for the worse. Everyone here is so helpful, and my reply was purposeless, except to blow off some steam. I apologize.

For your fryer, you might check some camping surplus place, or maybe Bass Pro Shop, don't know if they'd have anything. Also don't know how quickly you want it, but you could post a wanted ad on craigslist.org. It's free and anonymous. You can find and get some amazing things there. HTH

    Once again....my apologies!

  5. why don't you use credit cards on the internet? you have just as much risk with fraud using at a local retailer (with credit card, debit card or electronic check) as you do on the internet! Don't think you can't get screwed with paypal, cause you can. cash is the only sure way to avoid all that. Sorry, I know that's not what this thread is about, but all this paypal only cracks me up.

  6. we've been testing the uline cold packs with our body butter, freezing them first, and wrapping them in the foil bubble wrap that they also sell...they don't stay cold for two days and that's in 70 degree temps... uline said they don't know how long they stay cold. We've wrapped in packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and paper outside the foil wrap, no difference. When the packs thaw out, they also get the labels soggy. I don't know what the answer is, but it's not even HOT yet, so will keep trying!

  7. I have one that is the same way. It's a forever palm pillar, wax from JBN, FO Fudge brownie from Lonestar, brown dye, and a white "dusty" film on it. It has no additives, so don't know what the deal is with it. I made it a few months ago, and have been testing it off and on. It seems to be the only one with a problem though.

  8. You can also use Water Crystals http://secure.candlesupply.com/catalog_page_detail.cfm?queries_index=index7&title_bar=Water%20Crystals&recordno=3&Product_CatalogID=631&ProductCodeID=80&ProductSubCodeID=264&NewProduct=0

I have made some up and put them in ziplock bags and then froze them and shipped my stuff without problems. Not sure but they might weigh less than those ice packs.

    That's an interesting idea...Thanks!

It's 86 degrees, and yep, it's starting to melt. Will have to do something.

You all are amazing with your ideas!

  9. I called Uline...they didn't know how long either the cold brick or the cold pack would stay cold. Any feedback from your customers on this? They recommended using the cool shield bubble with the cold packs. Do you use them?

(I have a container in a box out in the sun right now, wrapped with bubble wrap to see how hot it gets before it'll melt..It's 84 degrees out right now. I guess I should stick one in the mailbox too to see how it goes)

I so appreciate the help with this!
