  1. You can find them on Ebay. $34 per 100 wicks, I think. :undecided The seller imports them from France.
  2. I picked up a wood wick candle by Old Virginia at cracker barrel out curosity also. the first thing i noticed was the flame was so high when I lit it. Have not burned it much, too busy making candles:D
  3. I second that! I have been making candles for 3 years & I test each candle, tart, etc. after all, if i am going to sell or even give it away, I want it to be the best that I can do and responsibly so.
  4. Hi: Vybar and stearin should not be added at the same time; and though I have not really tried soy yet, I think your melting and pouring temps are too low. You must reach a certain temp to add the fo so they can become effective and then your candle may have to cure a week or more before the scent is what you want it to be.
  5. Hi: You might try one wick size htp 105. If not, wick up to htp 126, if you are trying to use one wick. I have used one htp 126 in an "ivy" bowl with the same measurements your jar is. I tried one htp 1212, and it burned the wax, but it was too much heat and soot, so I went down the htp 126, it burned it slower and anything on the sides did catch up and I had a nice melt pool. Good luck! H:D
