Peaks is a definite winner for me.

I have it made! I own a two family home, and my daughter lives downstairs. That's where all of my candles get tested! I can't smell anything in my house anymore.

I use the J223, hex jar and 51Z and get a great throw. The Clean Cotton that I use (from Peaks) will run you out of the house!

My vote would be either candle nose, or the scent is maybe not the strongest!

If it's a lot of boxes, they schedule a special pickup for them. Our regular mailman takes one or two boxes at a time, but another truck comes when we have a lot of packages.

I've ordered from Stone Stew South, and am planning another order very soon! Her stuff is top notch and just plain beautiful. I never considered adding potpourri until I sampled hers and got such great reviews.

I still have some of her scented potpouri that I ordered in the fall and you can still smell it when you walk in the room. She also sells coffee and I've heard that it just can't be beat!!

Sandalwoods and patchouli...those earthy scents kill me! LOL

I'm with you on this one Trish. YUCK...I still gag when I think about pouring patchouli. It was a special order, and I put them in the garage until she picked them up because I couldn't stand to be around them.

I would LOVE for more suppliers to use FedEx. I work for them and get a fantastic employee discount...LOL!!

For a long time I was having "sink hole issues" with the J223, but the last few cases have been fine. I think it's because I just kept playing with it until I came up with what works for me. I will never believe that they didn't change this wax because the difference was just too obvious.

I like this wax, so I didn't want to totally give up on it. I now pour at around 145 into CLEAN jars. I've found that I get very few wet spots now that I wash every jar before I use it!

Get some flip tops for your bottles. They make it much easier to control the amt. of FO you're pouring.

I just put a piece of wax paper over my scale. Works for me!

I saw this on another site. According to the site, it's sold at most hardware stores and some Walmarts carry it. Would this work?

I love Peaks. I sell a lot of it too. It's just one of those strong, yummy, fresh scents! Smells good enough to eat!

It's called FedEx Home Delivery. They deliver Tues.-Sat.

I arrange shipping for the 3rd largest distributer of candles in the US and let me tell you...their candles are nothing to write home about!! When I met with them and toured their facility, (after they signed the contract...LOL) I let them know that I made candles and would never sell a candle with wicks as off centered as theirs were. The excuses and explanation that I heard...LOL! They definitely need a better quality control division!

I use an old pair of pantyhose to strain mine...LOL!! I just melt the wax, put one leg of the pantyhose over the pourpot, and pour the wax. It catches all of the little floaties that I sometimes get in my wax.

I believe you can also use cheesecloth for straining.

It's no surprise to me that you had a line! When I "grow up" I hope that my product looks as beautiful as yours does!
