Link not working for me either. SatinDucky The cracks are not all the way through the pillar. They kind of look like varicose veins.

salvaging cracked pillars Hello everyone. I was wondering does anyone remember seeing post on doing an overdip on pillars that had cracked? I am thinking Donita came to the rescue. I did a search and can't find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Very nice. You will just love the C-3. I was using the same untill both suppliers closed their stores here in this area. I can still get from one but would have to drive about 3 hrs away.

Hello everyone

I would like to try making CP soap. I have read so much information on the board from you all and I think I'm going to give it try. I went to some of the links that were suggested and got all sorts of imformation. Also Robin's tutoral is great. I was wondering about the stick blender. I found 2 at Walmarts 1 was 100 watts 9.99 the other was a 2 speed 20.00 is the 100 watt powerful enough? Or do I need more wattage? I even found one on Targets website for 17.00 2 speed. I also have a lye question. I couldn't find Red Devil lye but I found Roebic is this ok to use. It does say 100% Sodium Hydroxide on the label. Any help would be appreciated.

Very nice. I have been wanting to try to make soap for a while, I think I may have to try this. If you don't mind me asking? Is the only ingriedents , coconut oil and un-iodized salt? Do you also add water? I think this would be a good starting soap for me. Thanks
