I STILL can't get this out!!
Anyone need a metal taper mold?:undecided
But seriously....there must be a way!
-
Sigh.
Yes, it is metal. I did put it in the freezer but it is still stuck tight. I don't even own a hair dryer, so I am not sure HOW to heat this...maybe HOT water?
I am so mad at myself...I just had visions of these gorgeous long tapers, in my yummy scented BW....:rolleyes2

Don't know how else to get this to tell me of replies except to post again

Mine has a few different ones...but they are VERY expensive. Here they are over $20, that is alot to me, but I am very cheap.

As a long time Low carb dieter, I love Stevia and use it all the time!
However, TOO MUCH Stevia is very bitter and has an awful aftertaste, so it is better to put too little IMO. For instance, in a cup of coffee...I dip the TIP of my teaspoon into the powder, and that is all I need.
I have fiddled with lots of things for my lip balms, I just give em away, so no biggie....but I used Splenda in one recipe and it was a big hit! I think my dh puts it on just to eat!

Hi all!
After much searching, I FINALLY found a taper mold on ebay. It makes 8 tapers, very nice. I got it yesterday.
Anyway, I cleaned it out, and decided to try it. I poured one candle to test the wicks I had on hand, and to see finished product, etc.
I used 100% beeswax, as I always do.
How the HECK do I get it OUT?!?!?!? PLEASE help me....I don't know what to do...I was SO excited to get this...I feel so dumb!:rolleyes2
Any help is appreciated

Thanks, Meridith. It is companies like this that make the average consumer wary to shop over the internet. It makes me mad.

I ordered a sample from them over a month ago(Peaks does not carry this FO ). STILL have not received it. I have sent multiple emails with zero response. Is this typical? It wasn't alot of money, but I can't imagine wanting to deal with them again after this.
Now, I AM in Canada, but I have never had ANYTHING take over a month to arrive from the US, especially something sent Airmail.
Any help? Suggestions?

You really have to wick higher with BW. It is hard to wick, but when wicked properly burns alot nicer, and longer, than any other candle I have ever tried.

Someone posted the link to the auction on "The Whisk" and I saw it there.
Scroll down to just above the Paypal logo.
Did you SEE THAT?!?!?!!?
"This is not a lye by-product made in someones kitchen. This is lab formulated."

I have worked with TJ on a few things. He is fast and does great work. Far as I know, he is still moving and probably won't be back online until early next week.
We belong to a site about making money on ebay, he does templates for them, and I did some graphics for a couple of them.
Logos are not too hard, depending on what you want. Email me, maybe I can help!

No suggestions, but I like those names...especially White Sheets....or clean sheets!

Does anyone recommend the above recipe?

Thank you so much!!
That will give me a place to start testing, anyway!

that is very good to know, i am in BC and i do worry about shipping charges. where are you located?
I am in Alberta, and when I order I make sure I stay in and around $15 USD, to avoid UPS "brokerage" fees.
Even witht he shipping, prices are much better than I have found anywhere else.

Care to sell the template?

...and I can tell you as of this morning there is no stains on the sheets............from the oil
LMFAO.

What kind of preservative are you using? Long shelf life is going to be dependant on preservative.
To be honest, I am not sure. They are just some simple recipes I found online, but I am looking for a decent, long lasting lotion base, that I can add things to. The lotion bases I have found in my soap store are way too pricey.

I am curious about this as well. I love the look, it looks so professional.
Please help me remove my tapers from the mold!!
