  1. I recently tested Pine Meadows pumpkin pie and it is the best one I have found so far..Lots of pumpkin & cinnamon in it and very strong as well..I actually ordered a 16oz bottle last week..You know how I am with pumpkin scents,so maybe it would be worth trying for you!As for the crust part,I don't smell the crust in it but I think I am going to add some graham cracker for that part and it will be perfect I think!? I definately smell the cinnamon & pumpkin notes and boy are they strong!!You could get a sample and see what you think? HTH Karen~

  2. Just wanted to say I tested two scents from Fillmores new oils in pure soy..

GINGERBREAD~ has a very different smell than the rest..Unfortunately I did not get a good hot throw after a two day cure time..Maybe I should have let it cure longer, not sure..However it isn't one I would purchase again..

WARM APPLE PIE~ ordinary apple pie oil, smells good but not one I would reorder..Hot throw is kind of light with a two day cure time in pure soy..Maybe should have also let this one cure a bit longer..

I will stick to them for jar orders as their prices are the best and wonderful customer service always!

There probably are some of the new oils from them that are better than the two I tested..A friend is going to be testing the warm vanilla sugar & pumpkin souffle from them, hopefully she will post her results as well..Karen~

  3. I ordered the cinnamon stick from Wholesale Supplies Plus because of the reviews on the website..However it isn't a true cinnamon stick in my opinion and wasn't very strong..I have Candle Science's cinnamon stick and it is by far the best of these two but I am not totally sold on it either..Does anyone know of a good strong cinnamon stick that works well both hot & cold in soy? That smells true to its name?I would really appreciate any recommendations..Alot of the cinnamons I have tried smell like hot plastic:sad2: Karen~

  4. I poured a tester of Heartfelts fresh baked cookies yesterday and to me it smells like graham cracker not fresh baked cookies..It is a nice scent but I have used Green Leafs graham cracker for a couple of years now and it is very hard to tell the two apart in my opinion..Anyone else think it smells like graham cracker? Thanks,Karen~

  5. I haven't smelled the one from LANG but I have noticed that Candlemakers Store has a snow cream..I would think it would be a vanilla cream type since you make snow cream with vanilla, sugar & snow..I haven't tried it though..Karen~

  6. I was using the gingerbread spice cake from Candlewic but after trying their snickerdoodle~ the two smell alike to me and I went in search of both scents again. The sweet cinnamon pumpkin smelled perfumey to me and I couldn't stand the smell OOB so I never tested it..If I don't like how it smells in the bottle I normally don't mess with testing the oil.I know I shouldn't do that but there are others that DO smell good OOB and I stick with those, personally..Not sure about the others you have listed but the apple pie is pretty good..Karen~

  7. I have been test burning an 8oz pumpkin pie candle with Pine Meadows as the supplier..It is a strong pumpkin pie oil and I smell the pumpkin and lots of cinnamon..Hot throw is also pretty good,I should have let it cure a few more days but I couldn't wait any longer to light it!Also tried their gingerbread and though it was strong,I just didn't like the smell of this gingerbread..Anyone found a nice strong pumpkin pie yet?!I am liking the one Pine Meadows-so far..Karen~ First time ever trying their scents..

  8. I read all the reviews on WSP website of their straight gingerbread oil and it has lots of great reviews..It is currently out of stock and is supposed to be available on 9-12..Has anyone tested this in soy?How is the hot throw and does it smell like true gingerbread? They have several gingerbreads but the one called just gingerbread has the best reviews! Thanks! Karen~
