Well....Finally got the darn thing outta the mold....This batch has been nothing but problems for me from the beginning...Anyway...finished product.... I reckon I'm happy with it...

Looks like I am gonna have to bust my mold to get the soap out I haven't ever had his hard a time with it.... Oh well, been looking to buy another one anyway

Candles I mean..lol I used to shrink wrap...Then decided it was to big a PITA so I do like a cigar band around ... Different colored candles get different colored paper...I just use construction paper and rip along the edge..rough look Then label on the front...And I have recently started putting the warning labels on there too around back where the paper comes together...

ok...I haven't read all of this...But wanted to pipe in real quick...I wasn't going to say a word about it, cause..Just didn't want to really...They are running a story on me in our local paper this week due to me being a long time member of the rescue squad & a candle maker.. anyway...They wanted to talk about candle safety..Promoting safety..Not bashing candles.....

Here is a link to the NFPA website..Telling what they have to say.... I don't think it's a bad thing...It is a good thing...Just kinda helps drive home from our point of view you gotta be careful.

I dunno guys...by the time I whittle these nasty little boogers down to something "nice"...I'll have soap shavings....

Well, it's what I get for trying to many news things in a single batch..I wanted some Christmassy soap...I knew already I was wanting to try a "Lard-Free" recipe (First), and I used a scent I'd never soaped before...I am guessing that is what opened the doors for the gremlins

Anyway, here it is... Gotta take the bad with the good I reckon

ETA -- I couldn't stand having this ugly crap in the shop...So...here's what I've decided to do...I slivered it down

And added it into some white - unscented soap

Put it to bed last night...Will post when I pull outta the mold and cut...Anything will be an improvement over the other ugliness.

Have some Tart Cranberry from Candle Cocoon...They no longer carry it..Bought it awhile back on the classifieds...Does anyone know if it is soap CP safe??
