Does anyone else use the Scent Works Cyclo? Is it any good for hair products? They have it on sale to members this week.

Has anyone ever used the cyclo from Scent Works?

Just wondering if all cyclo's were basically the same.

I agree to call your CC Co. for a charge back. How extreme can they be. I can understand a 15% repacking fee, but not towards "original packaging" material. Especially when their policy admits that your shipment "WILL BE DROP KICKED" to your destination. They should have double boxed the items. Especially "pricey" items such as melters.

I purchased some balmorals last fall. I also purchased "separately" the correct # of lids to go with these jars. I received 1/2 the # of lids that I ordered. I emailed them, no response. I followed up with a phone call.

Well to make a long story short, I am still waiting for the lids that I was charged for.

They have been off my list for awhile now. Too many good suppliers out there with excellent CS to tolerate that.

Thanks for taking the time to get us this info. IMHO. I think that if you double zip lock bagged your butters and oils they would be fine to store in the same fridge. As far as the food goes. EEEK!! I would keep that separate.

I'm working on a solution for this issue. I'm trying to get a distribution/shipping point out of NJ (for wax only) that would make shipping a LOT cheaper to surrounding areas. I will let you know if it works out.

I really hope you can find a shipping point closer to PA.

Check your shipping charges as they greatly differ. If MMS qoutes are correct, their shipping is really reasonable. I never purchased from OBN (just through co-ops) so I can't vouch for how their shipping charges are.I was happy with the products that I do have from them.

I live in PA.

If the websites calculators are correct, it is cheaper for me to buy the same amount (weight) from MMS (Utah) as WSP (Ohio).

Now if we can only get a supplier closer to SW PA?

Should a preservative be used in lip balm?

At first I thought"NO" because it does not come into contact with water.

Then again, it is a multi use product so I would have to say yes!

Very nice display. You certainly have alot of candles to offer. Yummy looking parfaits, by the way. Just my opinion.

Could anyone tell me if temp changes would effect the gel. I live in PA.

Gets pretty cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

I was hoping to put it into a sealed rubbermade container than into the garage.

I had something happen to me,only not involving paypal or ebay.Someone got ahold of my bank card # and made a nice little transaction.

First off, have your friend go to her bank and dispute the charges(my bank called their fraudulent charges dept for me).They will trace the disputed charges. After you do this, CLOSE OUT THAT ACCOUNT.

Second, go to your local police dept.They may refer you to the police where your bank is located, but your local police will direct you.Then make a copy of that police report,give a copy to your bank and keep one for your records. The police stated that it is getting easier to get ahold of your Bank visa, etc. especially if you shop at unsecure sights.

This is why I started using paypal. Before I would use my reg. CC or the one that deducts funds from my checking.Apparently this person must have hacked into somewhere online that I used my #.The weird thing is, when the police caught up,the person was not using my name, buy a MALE alias.

So far I've tried Honeysuckle, Watermelon, Hyacinth and Black Raspberry Vanilla, the only one I'm having trouble with is the BRV. The scent will linger and float through the house, but is on the light side. I have SEVERAL others to pour yet, but so far I like them![/quo

I pored the BRV from JS and it did the same thing at 1oz. per lb. IMHO I think it is a great scent, just light.

Someone posted instructions on the old board to make these soaps. Unfortunately, I didn't keep her name, but want to thank her for the help--I made these last night for the first time and love them! (Of course, mine aren't nearly as pretty as hers, but should improve with practice.)

The fish soaps are really cute. Was that real sand you used?
