  1. If you smoked in the house then it is on your walls, carpet, furniture, curtains, bedding, etc, etc. Burning something to clean the air probably will have limited effect even if it is an excellent candle.

Your best bet is to wash/clean everything in your house, including the walls and air ducts.

Yes, CH is right. I moved into a home that the previous owner smoked. We cleaned carpets, walls and air ducts. The smell is gone!

  2. What a crock! Next time you get that guy and he tries to pull something like that again, just ask for him to show you it in print. :D If he can't produce it, then I'd approach the PostMaster and fill them in on what's going on. I know the post office are a sticky bunch (I made the mistake of trying to send something to Canada in a RECYCLED Priority box - they just about had a COW!) so maybe he'll get into a bit of trouble and won't try and pull that BS on you (or anyone else) again. ;)

    Good luck!

    Life & Light!

Totally agree with this. I sent oils today and no questions asked. You may never know...he maybe pocketing the 'extra' for himself?? I'm not saying he is but you never know.

  3. Michelle, that's what I'm trying next - can you give me an idea of how you use it? I don't have a recipe I'm in love with and am hoping this will be my magic bullet!

For example: do you use it in a complex combo or as the full butter in your lotion bars?

I add it to other ingredients. Off the top of my head my lotion bar has beeswax, avacodo oil, macadamia nut oil, golden shea, FO.
