I soaped WVS last night and I smell nothing but soap. I made a 3LB batch and used 3oz of FO. Do I mark this one as not soap worthy or is this scent going to eventually show up??

Hi Terri. Yes I have wicks that dance. I look at it this way..If there isn't any smoke or soot and I'm getting a full melt pool...I'll live with it:) I haven't had one customer complain or ask about it.

Yea:confused: With this particular recipe I usually wait 48 hours to unmold because it tends to be on the softer side. I tried to take some off with paper towels, but can't get all of it. Now I'm going to have to read up on rebatching. I've never had to do that:eek:

I am pretty sure it's glycerin. I touched it and smelled it and it doesn't really smell:confused: It's scented Blackberry Sage.

I used mica for colorant and I mixed it with glycerin. (made this CP last night) I checked on my soap and some of the glycerin is sitting on top of the soap:eek: What should I do?

What are you mixing with it? i use cyclomethicone.

For room/linen spray I use

95% cyclomethicone

5% FO

I have a recipe for a shea butter with other butters and it calls for 14TBS of meadowfoam oil. But I don't have any. This is what I have..grapeseed, avacodo, AKO, SAO, Seasame, macadamia nut, monoi de tahati. I wanted to use one of these. Which one?

I just cut my soap(upland mold with lines) and I weighed a few. They range from 5 to 6 oz. Is this too big? My husband says he likes a big bar, but I wanted to ask you. I have to say after 5 batches of soap I am proud to say these are sell worthy:)
