  1. I have not had any problems with it at all with the 1275 that I purchased from Creative Candle in Charleston, WV, it poured beautiful and had a great throw, and the wicking was good.

I found where I could get my wax without shipping and that is what I went with. They also sell it at Julies Candles in South Point, OH. I don't know anything about C&S waxes, I have not purchased their waxes.

My wax did not come from C&S, but there are other suppliers that have that same wax.

  2. I sell the 1oz oil to use with them, thinking about changing to 1/2 oz bottles, but I have not decided yet.

They sell slow, but they do sell. I like the ceramic rings best, but you and the customer must be careful with them, bc they will crack.

I tell the customer to add the fo to the ring with a dropper, if they drop too much on they will smoke especially if the bulb is too hot. I suggest 60W max. I have not tried using cut fo with them, but that is a thought too.

  3. OK73/1 Wax

OK 73/1 is a general purpose paraffin wax made specifically for pillars, tapers and votives.

55 lbs. Per Case (5/11 lb. Slabs)

    Melt Point: 135

    Pour Temperature: 160-180° F

Makes Scents Candle Supply, Pataskla, OH

The employees at Makes' told me this was a straight paraffin. It just figures that it is not, they dish out conflicting info quite often.

I would like to try a rustic from this wax. I was wondering about wicking and hot/cold throw.

Top...do you know who the mfg. of this wax is?

    Thanks, Cathy

  4. I use WSP M+P White and Clear Bases. I only add 1 T PP unrefined Shea Butter to my mix + FO. I have used this same blend for over 6 yrs. and I cannot go back to store soaps. After I unmold my soap I let them dry in a rack for at least a week or more before I package them. I always use a pouffie in the shower and get great lather.

I have used other brands that made my skin feel dry and itchy after using.

  5. Does anyone know if you can use the #'s on a debit card to track which bank a card is issued from?

At a show last month I accepted a debit card through ProPay and get a decline when processing the card.

She showed me her ID and I did not think to write her adress down, she was rushing + her kids acting up and I had a line of customers, I just checked DL to make sure she was the person on the card.

I got a phone # but reverse search shows nothing, I would like to figure out her address. They never answer the phone.

ProPay says that I am processing correct, that may be non sufficient funds. I would love to take this to the prosecutor of her county but first I would like an address.

Anyone know how to get bank info or home address. I am beginning to believe she is hiding and probably good at it?

    Thanks anyone !
