  1. ok i gotta know, what is the best type of dye to use for soy candles, i've used the dye blocks and reddi glo chips. and been wanting to try out liquid. any suggestions would be great

I have tried them all but I perfer using the block cause they are less messy un like the liquid ones I'm a bit of a clutz and some how manage to spill my liquid dye all the time

  2. So I found this wax that I forgot I had....read up on it as I was testing....boy did I make a mistake. I've read thread after thread of difficulties and suggested solutions. I've poured anywhere between 120-170, cooled in styrofoam, added PS, added 10-30 115 soy, nothing helps! The tarts come out cool but the votives crack no matter what. The votives are also loaded with air pockets. Unless anyone has found success I'm thinking of hanging up votives with it and using it up in tarts.

i dont add additives to the soy you are using... i cool it on a bakers rack in the kitchen... if the stick then freeze them for a minute to 3. no cracks here. i pour at 150.
