    I am using a wax mixture with Astrolite J223 and Comfort Blend IGI 4627. I am wondering why the wax is pulling from the container no matter what size or shape I por it into. I am heating my jars at 140 and pouring at 145. I am selling my candles at a tanning bed store and when I went there to do inventory I had to pull so many from the shelf. I have a excellent scent throw but I hate the way the candles look after a few hours. Thanks in advance.:highfive:

    I am going to start making pillars. Do the seamless pillar molds with wick pins make nice pillars or are the molds where you have to plug the mold up and run the wick through better? Just looking for some opinions.

    So far the only type of wicks that I have used is Zinc core wicks to make my container candles. They always mushroom bad and I have heard that other brands of wicks won't do this as bad. I use J223, 4786, and 4627 to make all my container candles. What is a good brand of wick to use? I was thinking of trying the HTP wicks. Thanks for any advice you guys have to offer.

    I finally got my grubby mold. Its a 4x6 mold. I was wanting to practice and make one this weekend but I was wondering how to wick it and do you ever use more than one wick? I have only made container candles and tart chunks. I want to start making the grubbys and Pillars. I have also made votives and they are really easy but i am stuck on how to wick a grubby with the mold. Any help would be great!

    Please keep in mind I have never made a pillar or grubby candle yet. I just ordered new wax in hopes that I bought the right kind for pillars and grubbys...tell me if Im wrong but I ordered Pillar Blend IGI 4625 from Peak. What kind of wick do I use for these? Please Help LOL:highfive:

    I have ordered a Grubby pillar mold which says it holds 2 pounds of wax. I ordered it from candles&supplies. Any one have an idea what something like that would sell for? Also I am wondering where I can find the grubby metal plates to sell with the candles. Hopefully I can find them for a wholesale price...Thanks in advance:yay:

    I had a lady just bring me a container of hers for me to fill. I really love the jar but I cannot find them anywhere without wax already in them. The name on the lide is McCalls Country Canning. Does anyone know where I can buy these to make my candles in?

    Yes they are a major printing company. I think I will use the Sweet pea site...looks really neat! I have a pic of the label I am complaining about but It wont resize to look smaller...Maybe to big to add
