  1. My husband's 23 year old grandson has severely dry hands that are actually cracking, and I'd love to be able to make something to help them. Does anyone have a recipe that might be good for this? I'm not even sure which oils and butters might work best. I would appreciate any and all advise anyone can give. Thanks

  2. Is that the silver metalic pigment ? The candle is beautiful. I also have the Candlefun system and I love it. I'm finishing up inventory for a 10 day festival that starts this Friday so keep your fingers crossed for me that they sell well.

How long have you been carving? You do a vey nice job.

  3. Now I know I'll have to place an order just to get a soap sample :)

Rhonda I sure wish I had known you were interested in going to the PA gathering because I would have loved to have had you ride over with me. I'm going next year so if you need a ride, you're more than welcome.

  4. I did sign up for the newsletter last night and I see that Rhonda is offering significant savings for members. I will definately have to get hold of some of these oils soon.

The problem with my carving is I just bought another warmer, to the tune of $800, which gives me 6 more colors to work with. YEA!!!!! I pick it up this week. Needless to say, that is the reason I can't order from MW right now. I am looking forward to showing you guys just how easy it is to carve and hopefully some of the group will want to look into it further.

Ok Abbie, refresh my memory on the Red Tea. You may be serious about it but for the life of me I don't remember what you said. Sorry.....it's a "senior moment" LOL

  5. You girls have no idea how much you are tempting me to order and I keep telling myself I can't!!!!!!!! Rhonda is only about 70 miles from me and I really want to get into her stuff but haven't even played with the samples we got at the gathering yet. The only things I've worked on since then is 1 batch of soap (Red Tea) and I've been carving like crazy.

I haven't been on the board much but it is good to be able to read the posts and be able to know who all of you are now. I'm already looking forward to next year's gathering.

  6. Carol, I just line mine with the freezer paper and it's not hard at all to do but Birdie showed us at the TN Social to just cut the foam the size you need them, glue 2 pieces of the craft foam together, and line your mold with it. I hope you enjoy your mold....I have the 16 bar one and I love it because I can actually cut even sized bars, and I can't do that with my log molds. I need to get "the tank" soap cutter if I want to make the soap logs. Hope you're feeling better.

  7. Thanks for the ideas....I especially like the one about dipping in purple wax to look like a grape cluster. I'm sure I'll try that one first. I thought about the firestarters too but wasn't sure if I wanted to waste my big pinecones on them. Thanks again

  8. Does anyone have any good ideas on what to do with large pinecones? A friend just gave me 3 garbage bags full and they are huge. Some are even as large as a football. I know the typical christmas tree stuff but I'm looking for something different. Any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  9. How in the world could I have forgotten the GOODIE BAGS?????? That's like birthday and Christmas all rolled into one!!!!!!!!! We got some awesome stuff in there including product, discount coupons, snacks, and I'm drawing a blank right now on the rest of the stuff. But take our word for it.......you'll really like it!!!!
